Events, are temporarily re-allowed, but will only involve events from this list:
1. Objectives
Objectives, is the Easiest event to run. Basically, Central gives the Marine Commander a number of objectives, usually involving recovering Data Disks or items. The primary focus of the marines, should be rescuing any survivors, and retreiving the objects Central wants.
Each time an item is recovered, Central can give a reward to the squad which brings it back, or the entire force of marines as a whole. The admin running the event, can determine the items, but don't let it get crazy (like, 1 or 2 laser weapons is ok, a mech is not).
2. CentCom Oversight
Centcom sends a representative to watch the marines, and observe. The Rep can NOT have a weapon (but they can have armor), and if they are captured by aliens, their recovery is the priority. There need to be several admins online for this, as one admin needs to be the rep, and will be unable to answer Ahelps, since they will be a key role.
3. Rebels
This mode, probably requires the MOST setup, and admin support. The players are split into 2 groups, with more rebels than marines. The rebels spawn on the bridge of the Nostromo. The event admin will need to set all the rebels as Revolutionaries, and spawn REBEL CRATES for them.
4. Thunderdome Battle
This one again, requires a LOT of admin work. Basically, everyone is teleported to observation, and then indviidually moved into the starting sides (red or green). Admins will have to rejuvinate the dead after each combat.
