Make sure to read the new rules.
I've been talking with Rahlzel, and he's done a LOT of work coming up with solutions and giving another perspective of how we could adjust the rules.
He'll be posting/editing the current post tonight, so make sure to read them over.
We are shifting the focus, to focus a bit more on RP, as well as allow more in-game response to some issues, and a little more freedom.
Hope you guys enjoy, Rah's been working really hard on this.

Its hard to see that someone one of the marines could be actually a russian traitor no?
What vets do when bored

RE: MAJOR RULE UPDATES
Hey rahlzel, I was looking at the rules and ran into a situation while moderating last night. Perhaps hardsuits should only be available once Marines see the effect of infection. That, or the marine commander issues an order for Marines to get out of uniform and into the hardsuits.

I'm open to making that change.mdom wrote: Hey rahlzel, I was looking at the rules and ran into a situation while moderating last night. I see it like this: If I'm a marine clearing out a station that went dark and something leaps up at one of my buddies and wraps itself around his face, I'm not doing much of anything except finding a way to protect my face so it doesn't happen to me.
EDIT: This is coming from someone who plays as an alien 95% of the time.

RE: MAJOR RULE UPDATES
I also see it like rahlzel, if you see a spider leaping at someones(or yours) face, rips your/his helmet off then wraps all over your/his face then well, you would want to get protection from that even if you don't know what exactly it does(because hell, who would want to get choked by what looks like a scorpion?). I would personally prefer that the rule stays like it is already(also no point to focus just on hardsuits if biohoods/welding helmets do the same thing).Rahlzel wrote: I'm open to making that change.

RE: MAJOR RULE UPDATES
I am glad you guys are doing something to work this out. It has been a little too chaotic in the past week.
