Byond ID: OneOneThreeEight (That's three E's there, boss.)
Marine Name (so we know who you are): Korban Norecur, Vira Taryk
Name of the character you want whitelisted (As in, the name your predator will use): Dv'ahl-Dreskar (Wolf-Pack)
Are you familiar with the Predator Code Of Honor (viewtopic.php?f=57&t=2693)? Yes.
Character background (an RP description as to why this character would be in this position, such as clan information. This will weigh HEAVILY on the decision, so make the information count): The clan known colloquially as the Pack is an ancient clan dating far back as early as the beginning of the Ice Age. During this period of time on Terra onward to the present, the Dreskar maintained a low profile reputation, though within the ranks of the Dreskar, many of the hunters were fascinated in the sport of hunting the exotic, massive, and very deadly creatures of prehistory. Many of the Dreskar halls and homes were filled with dozens, perhaps hundreds of skulls of the prey that the Dreskar hunted long before humanity began to evolve and rise to power.
Unlike the other clans, the Dreskar maintained a subtle presence among collective Yautja society. Many of the other clan leaders were aware of the Pack's existence, but the Pack was not openly recognized like the Adjudicators or the Elite Yautja. The Dreskar kept to their own affairs, their own affairs being the thrill and glory of the hunt of exotic prey. The philosophy exercised by the greatest hunters of the Dreskar was that prey was not worth hunting if nothing could be learned from the battle. Because of this, the Dreskar employed a few techniques learned from their prey, the central fascination being surrounded around Terran predators that hunted in packs. Though hunting parties were rare due to the scarce number of active Dreskar hunters, Xenomorph hive cleansing proved to be a fearsome and awe-inspiring spectacle for those participating in the hunt.
Dv'ahl is 138 years old, they became blooded with the caustic giblets of a xenomorph warrior when they were exactly one-hundred. Due to their lineage being closely linked to the second Clan Leader of the Dreskar, Dv'ahl was born to overwhelming expectations to live up to their ancestor's name and honor, to be able to one day claim the Biomask of their great ancestor. Their very first hunt was less-than-conventional as per ritualistic standards. Dv'ahl was sent out with one other Unblooded Dreskar to hunt inside the grounds of a derelict mining facility manufactured by an ancient alien race. It was speculated to be that of the Space Engineers. However, deep into the underground mining shafts, a group of xenomorphs made the tunnels their resting ground. It was noted by the Clan Leader to the two Unblooded that the Serpents were without their Queen, and that the remaining xenomorphs were stragglers.
The two Unblooded were determined to succeed in the hunt. Their ambition grew, as did their anxiousness to claim their first kill. They would strike true, yet viciously, like the Wolf.
Dv'ahl and his comrade took initiative, and soon prevailed, though their fight was perilous due to the conditions of the unstable mining shaft. They claimed the heads of the xenomorph warriors and roared as they were victorious in their first hunt. The ultimate, perfect predator, had been slain by the apex predator, Dv'ahl had mused to themself.
Their celebration was cut short, as a Serpent Drone ambushed Dv'ahl's comrade and impaled them with their deadly, sharpened tail. Dv'ahl, in a fit of rage, executed the drone, and mourned for a short period of time for their brethren. They enabled their comrade's self-destruct sequence, and left the cave network in a hurry. As the 20 megatonne yield of explosives levelled the mining facility, Dv'ahl ensured the record of the hunt was recorded on their own wrist bracer interface, and transmitted to the Dreskar clan shuttle so that the Dreskar would know that both of the Unblooded had passed their rite of initiation, albeit one of them would only be able to tell the tale personally.. Dv'ahl returned alone, welcomed with open arms into the ranks of the great hunters.
Dv'ahl currently seeks to further bring his clan great honor, and aims to claim the title of elite for himself, so he may finally claim the mask of his ancient ancestor and be honored as one of the great heroes of his clan.
Why should we whitelist you?: I'm a good roleplayer, and I've done extensive studying on the culture focused around the thrill of the Yautja ritualistic hunt. I'm a fan of the AvP movies, and I'm aware how each race would react in certain situations. I'm relatively robust, as well, and I know the predator mechanics pretty well.
Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or disobey the Predator Code of Honor?: Yes, I understand this.
Addendum: How'd I do? Good enough? I spent maybe 40 minutes doing this, after a couple hours of research.

There is a reason the dinosaurs went extinct, hehe
The clan concept is interesting and the way they exist is also well written. The end was a bit cliché, the typical 'cocky-youngbloods-being-suprised-by-hidden-xeno' but all in all not too bad. +1
I'm also noticing a lot of people making their own clan names, so there will be lots of different preds and none of the same clan it seems ... Might or might not be a problem, heh. I'd also love to train you for elite IC'ly sometime if you do get accepted.

Good bio, although the age thing is weird, 130 is REALLY young for a Yautja. Other than that it was pretty solid.
+1 either way.

I would've upped it had I known the age disparities and such for the Yautja, the lore page for it never went into detail.LordeKilly wrote:Good bio, although the age thing is weird, 130 is REALLY young for a Yautja. Other than that it was pretty solid.
