WIKI: PAY THE FUCK ATTENTION
I'm getting 100% tired of the wiki pages going against the rules or giving straight up WRONG information.
If you don't know what the fuck your doing, don't fucking write on the wiki.
If you aren't 100% sure it's not legal, don't fucking write on the wiki.
I'm looking fully at NON-STAFF, because I've had to correct SEVERAL ERRORS recently, including some that have caused conflicts due to "rule violations".
So pay more attention or post stuff here FIRST.

The Spitter is the next progression of the Sentinel caste. The Spitter is slightly slower, but gains a more powerful spit attack, as well as an Area of Effect spit,TheSlapDoctor wrote:Any examples so we know what not to do?
Spitter doesn't get an AoE spit for example.
They DO gain the ability to spit burning acid, which deals burn damage rather than stunning, at a higher plasma cost. The acid can break grilles (if the grille is clicked directly) or fly through grilles to hit targets on the other side. Additionally, the acid spit will travel through other xenos to hit a marine target.

Re: WIKI: PAY THE FUCK ATTENTION
I think that specific entry was my error, I noted in game how people complained how the Xeno wiki pages were not filled out with much information. Thus I did what I could to expand on information for some of the Xenos (if you check my edit history).
I guess I messed up which page I was looking at with the AoE acid.

Re: WIKI: PAY THE FUCK ATTENTION
Well, the point of the wiki is that it's easy to correct mistakes like that. At the moment, the wiki is edited by about three people, so there's obviously going to be incorrect information there.
Really, it'd make more sense to get MORE new writers rather than discourage those that are already putting in the effort, every new contributor is a new pair of eyes that can fact check. If you want only people with absolute knowledge of the game to make edits, you'll only have a few members of your staff capable of doing so.

Re: WIKI: PAY THE FUCK ATTENTION
Coincidently enough, not a single thought so far, his either of the instances I was writing this about.
The bigger instances being:
1. (from a bit before the thread) improper surgical procedures resulting in characters deaths/ahelps about why surgery wasn't working
2. The Military Police not allowed to carry lethals thing from whoever put that in first, then after it was removed(because it didn't belong there), some twat put it back in recently forcing us to remove it again...(Seriously, MPs have their own lethals armory, they just aren't allowed lethals against MARINES, thus don't have a real reason to have lethals prior to being boarded)

Re: WIKI: PAY THE FUCK ATTENTION
I am fairly sure the MP weapons things was because, and I am quoting the rules here, of this:
According to the wiki history page, the following was removed from the page:You may NOT have ANY lethal weapons, unless the Sulaco has been boarded. Having lethal weapons as an MP is a BANNABLE offense (no, not even if your going to the planet or chasing someone who shoots at you with lethals. Lethal weapons = BAN).
There was also a topic about this HERE. Isn't the removed portion basically what the rules state? You are not allowed to carry ''any'' lethal weapons unless Xenomorphs have boarded the Sulaco.

Re: WIKI: PAY THE FUCK ATTENTION
If you read the notes about the removed section, it's clearly explained we don't want rule references on the wiki like that.

Re: WIKI: PAY THE FUCK ATTENTION
RIP, If its alright with staff, I got my downtime I can drop in gather info and just work on updating the wiki (7 years coming of overall SS13 knowledge). So just hit me with a reply or a PM and I can get to work on it.
