Nah, your not the only one, and its not just Mods who Pred. I may be one of the only non-mod Preds? Honestly I was amazed that the two actual most sensical things are the two highest votes. I am proud of everyone for taking this seriously.

The tank aspect of the pred is retarded. It can be downed and slashed by three t3 xeno's so many times. The pred should be like the movies, something that is extremely deadly but way more fragile or slower, whatever turns into better game-play.



I've been with good players on both sides fighting the pred, and its just always a murder fest unless the predator is playing the, "stand around neutral" deal or, "IamUrWaifu" pred that follows humans around like they would be friends.


Basically every time the pred kills about 6-8 people on the team right after the main encounter between the two main forces, and basically one sides sits fighting the pred while the other gains strength, advantage while also retaining their numbers. People start bitching in dead chat about it and the pred goes and falls down in front of the queen trying to nuke her.


It would be a cool feature, I think right now it just ruins a pretty perfectly balanced game.

This. Remove tank aspect of predator. It is hilariously frustrating. When I was a ravager I went on melee fight (1v1) with predator when I had full HP, the predator won and seemed to not get even in crit. It just collected my meat and ran away like nothing happened.

To be fair, dude, they are pretty much alone when it comes to help. Marines get full medbays, aliums get weeds. Give them /something/.

I was a hunter and fought a predator once, it was easy. Just slash their mask off and hug them. There's no issue to marines too, if they work together. Players are just salty they usually go 1v1ing and fail. Would choose the last option, but some preds are still slashing and killing whilst cloaked.

the tank aspect of the predator is ok, me as a runner and some other aliens got one down pretty easily, we even got a larva out of the predator, as we where worshipping to see if a predalien came out, there was just a normal larva, cri everytime
