Additional Info or Notes: I was originally getting on this guy about his name as it is a Gears of War reference, and then I realized that there were actually three people with that reference name. I discussed it with Snype and he said he had suspected them of metacomming previously. There was also a player complaint about them previously. viewtopic.php?f=63&p=97632#p97632

They were using teamspeak, and the rule says we have to shut down metacomming, and we can't shut down a teamspeak, so all I can think is to perma them.

Edit: He just gave me the names of others he regularly is in Teamspeak. Homer Blackburn and Nick Jette.

We have had suspicions about these guys before, at least Trevin and Drake. Though I did forget to put a note down, or I put it on Nick Jette because the three of them were part of an incident with Leo Backburn were Leo actually sent us an ahelp about the guys saying that he thought they were meta-communicating too. If needed I can post a full summary of the previous incident.

Was there any clear malicious intent by them using OOC coms?
I'm not really seeing it there as they just said they use OOC coms, something which they did tell me about.

I'm not seeing clear malicious intent at this time, however I was talking to Rahl about this, and we do have two of them sabotaging the engine together because "W-Y is a fag corp" and that involved a previous situation. Rahl was wary as well because one of them has two engine sabotage attempts on him.

I'm cool with us doing a metacomm rule change because of the discord. Right now though, it's against the rules, so I was just enforcing the rules on this one as best I can.

TrevinBehrens also has the note for sabotaging atmos with help, but it doesn't say who the help was.

Oh, I totally agree, but I wanted to make sure we were on the same page that I was just banning him for the metacomms. I never interacted with him in regards to the sabotages.

I spoke to Anthony Carmine (Nicky), and he resisted my insistence that his name was violating the "no famous names". He claimed that Anthony Carmine was too minor of a character to be well known (yeah okay buddy) and that Apop had allowed it.

I stayed my hammer and contacted Apop, but got no response from him.

He has 2 notes for sabotage, but they are the same incident. One is the autoi-generated job-ban, the other is the auto-generated time-ban.

They are the same incident, there is one atmos sabotage, not several.

I didn't see that. He does only have the one. the other is adminbot. So we just have him and Sinful_Gaming doing the engine sabotage together on the Teamspeak.
