Wake Me Up And Saaaaaaave Meeeee

Post by Karmac » 30 Nov 2016, 08:44

>Be Medic, get planetside, already know team is boots, including SL that immediately asks who wants to shoot some bugs.
>Survivor is on comms, crazy talking it up, eventually agree upon meeting them at Hydro
>Wait there for a while, Survivor is attacked by aliens on the way to me, rush up to help them
>Survivor is captured and I get decapped by a Mature Hunter in 5 hits, kk
>My body is eventually seen by 3 marines, one is my SL, one of them says "Pawolski got shredded", they ignore my body
>8 Minutes later they drag me inside, my gun had a rail flash and it meant they had to use less flares, they do not move my body any further
>20 Minutes later they take the backpack off my corpse and grab meds out of it, the only thing I kept in there were Adv. First Aid kits and some other less important tools
>My lifesaver belt with 12 autoinjectors, 6 pills to solve all your problems and the health analyzer in my pockets are left on me
>FUKKEN BALDIES

EDIT: My SL says this after a failed river assault,
>SSGT Peter Thompson (follow) says, "We hold river side untill the medic arrives"
>Our only other Medic was captured after nobody covered him while he was working.

Sounds like a completely normal round of CM.

Normally lowpop contains some of the more robust players, which is normally very convenient, as it's easier to keep them alive as a Medic if there are few other patients to worry about.

This was saddening.
