Why use an acog when you can line it using the blade of a fucking knife? Besides, it's a sentry. It does it's own aiming by detecting high levels of xeno ERP and blasting knives in the general direction. The knifesight doubles as a cutting edge for when you use it as a melee weapon.

Bipods are clearly attatched, they are the feet. You use those while manually aiming, and when it is in sentry mode it walks around on those like a duck. quaak quaak
