its actually a good and resource conservative way of making a FOB, since turrets discourage xenos from sitting near racks and slicing them down and you can go and quickly remake them, nor can they be acid'd down fast enough due to the turret there

a crusher is the only thing that could really budge this defence reliably

Centre nexus is a rather poor location for the FOB, hold East nexus, then you can only be attacked from two locations and your FOB covers the LZ.

this isn't the first time I've done a design like this, and from previous experience, it takes three crushers for the outcome to really favor the Xenos side, two crushers and I still have time to shoot them off/repair the barricades.
