So I have to play a clown . . .

Long version: I play two different "roles" but in the story they are the same character. I go from playing a old, cigar smoking, doctor to an older actor. In the actual play, they are the same character but the reason why they are "separate" is because it is a play about a soap opera. So that means I have to play the actor and then at parts play the actor's character in the soap opera.

In one of the scenes, I have to play a clown. Like a full on, colorful baggy pants wearing, painted face, colorful wig, funny accent, red nosed clown.

Long story short, I need advice on playing a clown.

Trip the nearest actor and proceed to fart on them until your ass dislodges itself onto their face.
Get a radio device tied to a local sound system that cannot easily be turned off. Hide in a locker, and read poorly written erotic fanfiction into your radio.

Follow these easy steps and you're sure to be clowning with the best of them in no time.

Funny enough, I had an actual clown horn, I pit it off stage during this picture. Also, those shoes were plastic and they fucking hurt. They cut into my ankles really hard.

Another thing, because they are plastic, they make a lot of fucking noise and I had to run from one side of the stage to the other when I am back stage so I had to rip them off without making noise, run over (I'm a big guy, I have heavy footsteps) to the other side, put them back on and walk back out on stage.

Are you allowed to wear socks? i can't tell from the picture, but if you are allowed and you aren't wearing them, might wanna wear some that aren't visible but high enough for the shoes, even if it won't stop the pain it should reduce it a bit, but hopefully there will be no pain.

Also jezz, imagine if you jumped in those or started to tap the ground with your feet really fast...ear-rape.

Also imagine a retard when playing a clown or watch a video of how a clown speaks, might help a bit what accent to make (Also they typically almost always smile, so uh...if you gonna stay there long, prepare for some hurt cheeks)

I went from wearing like dress shoes into that so yeah, I have high socks hidden by the overalls but the plastic at the ankles was fucking sharp and I had to do that play a total of 4 times.

This was after the 1st in school performance so, I had been smiling for quite a bit at this point. I didn't have to "play" a clown so much as the character I WAS acting as was dressed up as one. There was only one short scene where I had to act as a clown and I sorta did a voice with it.

I'll see if I can find a picture of my original costume I was in before this.

It was a fun play to do to be honest and the last one I did before graduating high school. This picture was taken in the last semester of my senior year.

I, unfortunately, wasn't able to find a picture of myself in my original costume, or at least one that didn't have other people in the frame posing in the picture.

For play purposes, they actually de-aged my character from like, 50-60 years old to around late forties. We had to do that for several of the characters actually, the original script was really odd with some of the character ages. The main antagonist for the play, originally, was like 70 years old and had an obsession with like a mid to late twenties year old actress. It was a REALLY bizarre script.
