Godwin raised his sword in the air, trying to get around the Orc or nudge them along as he rushed in, Shield first, attempting to bash them down with it first, towards the nearest bandit, screaming
"Prepareth f'r judgement, by mine own blade, foul fiends! God wills t! "

[Garrison]

The hooded figures taken completely by surprise, Shaun charges at the person left of Sir Godwin, holding the torch forward, he winds his sword arm back, swinging diagonally to strike a killing blow at the persons torso.

[Karmac]

Gazghul, late to the action, charges in as well, taking an overhead swing at the next un-assaulted figure.

[Kavrick]

Godwin feints with his first strike, before following through with a shield bash to the first figure he collides with, sending him crashing to the floor.

Shaun brings down his sword upon the second man,
a flash of steel followed by a spray of blood against the cavern wall as the man crumpled to the ground.

Gazghul, charges in following them, swiping his sword through the darkness to no avail.

[Garrison]

Shaun's blood raced as he struck the man down. Not stopping to think, he moves to engage the next, slashing twice center mass.

Godwin wasted no time, bringing his longsword down on the fallen fiend to end them somewhat rightly

[Karmac]

Gazghul attempted to land two blows on his chosen enemy, hoping to finish this fight quickly.

[Amaxin]

Anri steps towards the first line, wielding her dagger in her hand, and getting ready to deflect the incoming blades. With a certain feel of dread, she clutched the short blade with her both hands, raising it towards the cultists slightly.

[Kavrick]

The cultists bolt into action, drawing their daggers against their ambushers, they turn their attention to their closest assailant, two cultists bring their knives down upon him, but anticipating their intervention he bashes their blades out of their hands using his shield before bringing his sword down upon the pinned man below him, impaling him on the blade and discarding him.

Anri jumps into the fray, and before they swing their weapons at Gazghul, she clashes their daggers with her own, deflecting their attacks.

The last culist runs towards Shaun, hopelessly lunging towards him and missing by a wide breath.

Shaun, stepping to the side to avoid the cultist, takes the chance and brings his sword down on the back of his attacker, the man's momentum only helping him fall to ground.

Gazghul, still trying to adjust to the dark, swings his sword wildly at the air in front of him, to no use.

[Karmac]

Gazghul screams in rage, once again attempting two strikes on his opponent, becoming more and more infuriated as the fight drags on.

[Garrison]

Shaun recoils with a startle when he hears the familiar war-cry of an Orc. Taking a defensive stance, he turns in Gazghul's direction. Unsure if he should intervene in a raging Orcs fight. He holds the torch up, allowing it too illuminate the area more effectively.

[coroneljones]

Godwin raised his shield in the direction of one of the cultists near him, thrusting his sword forward towards the other one

[Kavrick]

The cultists continue their assault, completely unfazed by their comrades demise, one after enough they strike their blades, catching nothing but the damp air. The last cultist lunges at Godwin, the strike easily being swept aside by his shield arm.

Godwin attempts to counterattack with his own lunge, loosing his grip as he thrusts, his sword slides out of his hand, colliding with the cavern wall.

Overcome by rage, Gazghul brings his sword down upon the cultists, cutting them aside like paper he butchers his way through two cultists with two easy swings.

[Karmac]

Gazghul, still overcome by bloodlust, continues his reckless assault on the enemy.

[coroneljones]

Godwin looks in surprise at his recklessness before calling up a desperate maneuver, he attempted to faint a strike with his fist, before delivering a strike with the shield

[Garrison]

Seeing Sir Godwins predicament, Shaun attempts to knock the nearest Cultist off balance with a shove/trip. He then falls back to rally to Godwin, but then see's an opportunity to back stab Godwin's immediate opponent, he goes for it.

[Amaxin]

Following Gazghul in his rage with a tad more reasoning, Anri steps forward with her dagger and attempts to stab the cultist up front.

[Kavrick]

The two remaining cultists begin to panic as the enraged orc charges towards them, only able to scream as the bloody orc cuts them down.

[Garrison]

Shaun stares in horror at the carnage that Gazghul unleashes. As the aftermath of the battle sets in, he collapses to his knees, hands shaking, feeling somewhat sick. Although he was no stranger to combat and fighting for his life. This was probably the first time he actually had to kill someone that didn't involve self defense... Seeing the cultists that Gazghul tore through in his rage along with the random pile of flesh and body parts didn't help much either.

[Karmac]

Gazghul gazes over Shaun's form and sighs, walking over to the human and putting a hand on his back,
"Right, lad, you see all dis? Dis is parta yer lot now, dis killin' ain't gonna stop, jus' be glad dey was on da wrong side of da playin' field. Don't fink for one minute dey didn't deserve wot dey got lad, youze da big 'ero in dis little story, jus' be sure to act loik one awrite?"

[Garrison]

Shaun freezes for a brief moment when Gazghul taps his back, but then in almost an instant, a memory runs through his mind.

your probably the first Orc I've met that didn't try to rob or kill me these past few seasons. It's refreshing to actually fight alongside one for a change.

His thought, along with Gazghul's words, helps him push the hysteria out of his mind.

"Ah.. Y-Yes, your right. Apologies, I-I th-hought this would get easier when I joined the Adventurers Guild."

Shaun gets to his feet and sheaths his sword. Then rubs his eyes.

"Suppose you can't just get used to killing overnight."

[Karmac]

Gazghul smiles and lets out a laugh at the lad's comment,
"If it were dat easy, we'd 'ave a lot more wars den you'd fink"

[Garrison]

Shaun actually smirks for a moment before speaking

"You'd be surprised"

He then begins to look around the area. He then seems to notice something peculiar about the pile of body parts.

[coroneljones]

Godwin took a moment to catch his breath, before heading off to where his sword supposedly went, to pick it up.

The sound of someone yelling echoed from the dark corner of the cavern "Over here! Someone please free me from these chains!".
