Genres I like are Ecchi, Comedy and anything to do with Imoutos.

Comedy: 'PRISON SCHOOL' (Watch this shit and die laughing)
Imouto: 'Oreimo', 'Yosuga No Sora' (wincest anyone?)
Action: 'Highschool DXD', 'Is it Wrong to Pick up Girls in a Dungeon?' (Good Ecchi in there too)
Also the best anime of all time: 'Cowboy Bepop'. (It'll make your balls drop)

My personal favorite anime is Ōrusutā, it really captures so much about the average Human life. Not to mention it gives the author's perspective on how to live life happily, but in a more fun way than a simple reading. Although it is a bit short, it is one of my personal favorite animes, and the ending was damn near perfection.
