16/07/2017 - The Mutiny to end all mutinies

Okay, kiddies gather round and listen up, I'm going to tell you a story of incompetence, betrayal and most importantly of all, a mutiny gone wrong.

Alright so it started when the briefing was delayed until 12:30 due to a marine kicking in a window, then a marine by the name of "Kitt clover" makes an odd remark about mutinying, that was his last mistake, the CO by the name of Brett Kimple heard this, his bald eyes, glared into the marines dark black, and soon to be dead eyes.

Brett takes immediate action, grabbing and handcuffing the marine, dragged him into the commanders briefing area, he takes out his shiny commanders pistol, before unloading two clips into the marine's skull, each shot dinking off the marines helmet (picture below of the area after the event)

The marines on looked this tragic event, their eyes filled with rage, Bwionk bwionk bwionk, the ahelps came aplenty, all saying one thing "Mutiny", it was authorised post haste, it was on, Immediately the marines found the nearest MP, they started to lynch them, the marines roared a triumphant roar as the MPs head was cleaved off by their boot knives, their thirst for blood was not finished, they went on the prowl for the commander.

And what a glorious hunt it was, the XO, promising the marines the COs head, lured them into the brig, but alas! the CO was waiting with a flamer, executing all the marines that came down the ladder.

The CO had a last stand in the brig, holding off against the ravenous marine hordes, but quickly he fell to the mad beast that is the marines, his last stand took the lives of many a marine.

But this was not the end of the story, the ship was being declared rogue! and a death squad was quickly dispatched!

And alas, around 60 marines died in this tragic, totally unavoidable event, the xenos, on the other hand, had lost none, and they would get their reckoning.

And thus ends the round, the round got restarted and thankfully so, all I can say is that it was totally preventable and everyone involved was shit, so next time you go command kiddies, do no execute a marines comrade in front of other marines, and marines, don't instantly lynch and MP and cause a shitfest, that is all.

the fact mutinies like this exist prove most players are incredibly petty manchildren, and as saddening as that is, it's not very surprising.

I was part of this magical event. I was the first one actually arrested for trying to mutiny actually. I said over the radio "MUTINY!!!" and got detained for 34 minutes. My radio was taken away, and 20 minutes later, mutineers freed me, and I quickly ran to my research room, gathering a few weapons beforehand. I ran inside to find my fellow researcher, with a welder ready to weld the door. We did this with haste, made thermite, and went into a containment cell, splashing it on a side wall. We would use this as an emergency exit, but oh! Once we destroyed the foam wall, SPACE! Space was under it! And it was amazing too! Oxygen was not sucked out, instead, the space section... was just there. We got KPA damage from standing on it, but we could still breathe!? What was this!?!? A magical floor then appeared under it, but we decided it was not over yet! We destroyed the two other foam walls at the sides, but sadly... before we could do more research, the SD went off and we all died. The end. (Luckily the deathsquad nor the xenos ever bothered us! YAY!)

This round was great.

ALSO, it wasn't a flamer; someone tried to flame me. So I put them down with my smartgun... and then a sea of marines went up the ladder and got burst fire smartgunned into their hands.

Thats why you see so many gloves on the floor.

Meanwhile on the surface, Xenos declared war on snow and made it their mission to remove all snow from the planet and creating the ultimate hive of all time.

Anyways, in conclusion, this round was stupid and you all just wanted to start shooting people up because the CO was slow to start briefing, jesus, act like actual human beings and soldiers.

Well that wish was fulfilled; they got the CO to shoot at (me) who ended up removing at least 20 marines hands, and then they got DS to shoot at... who obliterated them due to every DS being literally a PMC officer except with better armor.

Ah I remember, by the time the DS came three marines, a doctor, a pilot and myself took the Alamo down to escape'em only to be done in by spitters.

I was very upset with this round.

I was the PO at the time, and I was eager to try out the new CAS system for the first time. Instead, however, I ended up having to deal with a marine mutiny due to the commander's excessive reaction to a single window being broken, carelessly executing a marine in front of a crowd of quite clearly angry people, and then after all that, he had the gall to not even give them a proper speech at briefing, preferring to use the announcement system instead.

Every CO has their way of playing, that I know, but I felt that the CO that round really should have handled it better. When the PO seems to be the only person with common sense, you know it is gonna be a shit round for everyone.

It didn't help that the cherry on top was getting flushed down disposals and dying as a result, so I couldn't even partake in the rest of the round.. Not that there was much of it left to begin with.

It is stuff like this why, when I go CO, I try to be more caring and fatherly to my men, because I (mostly) understand how marines think and know that a strong bond with men is how you get them to respect you, not just flailing your pistol around and threatening death for every single thing just because you can. Hell, I had times where marines mutinied me, only to take me back because they realized how much they needed me around. That is the power of a leader who leads with charisma over cruelty.

Why that CO guy took away some player's ability to take part in a current round for words he typed in a chat by point blanking them with a firearm in the head?
I understand this is a medium roleplay server, but still- Why would you want to take someone's life even in a game if he's defenseless and obedient so-so...
During that so called 'mutiny' a lot of players dropped their weapons (including me) and proceeded to benefit to a gameplay through RP.
We played some card games with marines in a rest room, we ate pizza with some girls from bravo squad in canteens and then bang!
I am getting shot in the mouth by the death squad while throwing out USMC meal wrap in a bin...
What's the point of such rounds?

The marine shouted "mutiny!" at the CO, what did they expect to happen? It to go unpunished?

As for "the point of such rounds". Nobody caused this but the marines themselves. They are the ones that wanted to mutiny over an execution.

Everyone has their own way of playing CO, mine is more protocol and hardass... sometimes to the extremes, I admit, but that is how I play CO. Marines, if they are useful, are treated well; if they aren't, they are treated as disposable assets. When a Marine in Briefing says "should we start a mutiny" right in my face infront of tons of marines, it shows their usefulness has dropped from 0 to the negatives and was made an example of with a field execution approved after I ahelped.

The marines took this as me being a cold hearted asshole who doesn't care for their men; I do care for them, only the ones who actually bother to follow Marine Law and do their job as Marines, not starting mutinies over briefing being at 12:30 instead of 12:20 due to a Marine near shift start breaking windows past Security Checkpoints.

I was CT that round and... I think I was the creator of this mutiny. Really, I think it was me.

The guy that destroyed a window was because I had denied him attachments. He then got angered and started breaking down the windows of REQ lines.

Then the mutiny happened and DS appeared out of no where in cargo and tried to kill me and the RO. But oh boy, we put up a good fight, only to be flashbanged in the face.

But I think I should apologise for not giving the muhrine what he wanted. A god dam Suppressor.

Consider no one uses suppressor, plus the ample supply of it, you might just give him but oh well.
