I'm from and live in the USA, but I say the word mate unironically after I started playing CM
You will never be as bad as the baldie who picked up a tactical shotgun while a hunter was pouncing on top of a CMO for 4 seconds, with his only response being to pace around before being decap'd by said hunter. Lived my whole life in the southern states of the US, I've started unironically calling people lads and all that stuff since I started playing 2D Spess men. It's pretty great, 10/10 Would play games with a large international community again.

For no explicable reason I've started saying "Oi" to get people's attention. I have no idea where it came from or why I do it, but it only came about after I started playing..

Apparently, the joke about everyone being English in space is real.

Truly the USCM has no equal in it's level of gentlemanliness, I suspect regulation mustaches will come shortly.
