So today I was with my boy-scout troop. Yes I'm in boy-scouts, shut up already.

So this morning we were hot-gluing together rockets, like, ya know the model rockets that you buy, and then you assemble them and take the little engines and the parachute and such? Well today we did it from complete SCRATCH, pure cardboard tubes, wooden fins, Styrofoam to nest the engine, a little nose-cone, it was fun ... except ... for when the FF happened.

So we were gluing ... and a guy next to me (I won't say his name) pressed WAAAY too hard on the glue gun and SPRAYED IT ... ALL OVER MY HANDS. He is the kind of kid that's like "I'm made of ... THE STUFF" and "Alright let's do this sh*t", so I of course, scream out in pain because my hands are freakin' BURNING, guy says he's sorry and all is well.

Well now I have a LOOAAD of pain in my hand and fingers right now, because once you get burned it really DOES stay on your hands. It's hard to even type this freakin' thread because of the pain.


Anyway, we're launching the rockets later today, and guess who's in charge of setting the fuses and stuff to the HOT engines? ... you guessed it ... me.

Wish me luck I guess, lol.

Just put your hands under water, many times i have burnt my hand with it.

Also dont mess around with anything which constitutes pyrotechnics. :P

Once on an army cadet blank firing exercise my section 2ic who had been given the LSW decided to open fire when he was next to me, this resulted in my face being burned as a dozen spent shells (which are really hot) landed on my face and neck, i still have a scar on my neck from it.
Also i forgive you for being a boy scout 'cause im a cadet which is basically a boy scout with guns
