Petition to replace the CO's smartgun with a Sword when
I play as Ian Evans, the guy that is either dead after five minutes, or is the hero the USCM deserves. Usually the first one.

I don't even need to watch this video, it's a video about "Mad" Jack Churchill. 100% certified insane British officer. 100% certified bad ass mother fucker.

The very irony is that "whatever works, works".

Even when it's unlikely. Or uncommon.

But when it is, you are going to be an icon....

World War II?

- If someone asks you to draw a picture of "the three axis commanders" without doing any survey about it, I bet you are going to draw that guy with the strange mustache and haircut, but be clueless about the faces of the other two.

- If it's a gun used by the axis? I bet first to come into mind will be the Luger, the "broom handled" Mauser or the Walther PP in most cases. Being pistols with a very unique design. While any of the rifles will be very hard to remember and describe.

Science?

- Albert Einstein isn't the first guy you can remember? Or at least the most notable?
With his messy hair. Maybe with his tongue stretched out too...?
Maybe Nikola Tesla instead, with his very notable experiments.
(But most won't be able to draw a picture of him without doing a survey first.)

The actual "Far West"?

- I guess the first name to come into your mind will be "Billy the Kid"...
He looked like a kid, of course. No beard or mustache. Very "clean" face.
In a universe of "hairy guys", he was a very notable "snowflake".

... (It goes on).

CO 100% unironically needs a sword and scabbard for his belt. You could even use it WITH a SG.

Sometimes you just gotta go in

Be it on the beaches of Normandy with a bow, or the crashed Alamo with an SMG

Sometimes, despite your equipment, you just gotta go in.
