Its actually quite true, as doctor Its so tiresome with the "DOC HELP ME IM HURTT!!" Sometimes I go through entire rounds not saying a word to patients.

I TRY to make it more interesting for docs by trying to chat, but in the end if you are chatting you ain't fixing the 10 other people in stasis bags out in the hall.

I try to chat during surgeries steps to make it more fun for others, but I need all the time I have to plan out my actions. Time spent thinking up words to type and typing it in could be better spent to figure out what guy you should operate on next, which part do you want to focus on first, whether there's something or someone that is fucked enough to funnel all of my attention in; like a Larva, or a dude with collapsed lungs (basically me having to run all the way to the vendors for Oxycodon injectors because internals won't work on that dude until I fix his lungs). Heck, I don't even take off people's medical mask and anesthesia tank after I'm done with surgeries if I'm busy. I disable their internals, then shake them up. The time while they gather their stuff is the time I need to get ready for another dude, either scanning him, or having another mask and tank ready because I can't wait for people to take off their own.

Basically, you need to get on the Medbay wild ride, to truly understand what medics and doctors have to go through.
