I really liked that it didn't have a good ending, but I guess that just leads up to the part two planned. Movie itself was entertaining and there was that alien reference too.

Great movie, I loved it. Good humor, good dialogue, good effects. I was surprised that they pulled off the ending like that, I didnt think that they would kill literally half of the fucking universe. Granted, I'm certain that they will reverse that in the next movie but it was a great ending. Heroes lost, an ungodly number of people died (Spiderman's death just hurts my heart, I had a dream like that last year), and it was a new direction that I didn't think Disney would resort too.

Yeah, I think the reason doctor strange gave thanos the stone was because in the one scenario they won, he did that, tony's survival being critical. So I think Tony will have a large role in reversing what has been done.

My theory on the ending:
They arent actually dead, just trpped in the soul stone. I think that after Thanos’ Gauntlet is destroyed, everyone returns to the spot the faded from.

what do you think happened to the infinity gauntlet/thanos' arm? Too much power used at once and it's burnt out? He can still use the gems and evidenced by his use of the space stone... but can he used them all in conjunction? I think he may only be able to use them one at a time now, but that's just a 100% guess.

I think it just was damaged by the amount of power it had to use, but it is still usable. If he uses them all again he will probably end up killing himself, or releasing everyone from the soul stone.
