It's actually noon on the planet when the operation starts, but the Almayer bring an orbiter moves in a near perfect geo-synchronous orbit where it is constantly eclipsing whatever star is providing the planet with light.

Do you think burrowed larva die when the Queen dies, and only come out from beneath the Queen is because they burrow inside of her ovi?

when a larva bursts on the ground, and the queen is up on the ship, do you think burrowed larva make tiny black holes to travel through space to the queens Ovipositor up on the almayer?
