Truth is if you die you are then back to the present day but you're probably not going to have a good week as your entire body is in extreme pain for a whole year... This thread becomes more active but then becomes over-active and fuels the imagination of a lurking anon who grows up to create wide-spread Artificial Intelligence that turns on it's creators and destroys almost all of humanity except for the community of CM where our consciousness is downloaded into a virtual reality world where we are brutalized and tormented for the rest of time.

After a few billion years of being crushed, you eventually get released by the Earth being destroyed by the sun, and instead get to suffer the rest of the sun's existence in the pain of its heat. When the sun goes, you get to enjoy both depressurisation and asphyxiation until you hit something, etc.

Granted, but everyone you care about is drafted, and you become an incorporeal entity capable only of watching them and only them. You cannot communicate, you cannot scream, and you cannot possibly interfere. You can only watch as your friends and loved ones are ravaged by the horrors of war. Only one lives, but dies painfully shortly after due to extensive injuries.

I wish I could make a character entirely of my choosing exist and live peacefully, without excessive harm coming to them, somewhere within a 10 mile radius of me in real life, and able to make physical and verbal contact with me, existing exactly, in both personality and body, as they did in the fictional world with any and all minor changes necessary to make them possible in real life.
