Games from your childhood
What games did you grow up playing?
I'll start.
This game ate most of my time. One of the best RPG's I've ever played. Amazing shit.
You know how many times I beat this game on the hard pathway?
Once.
Exactly once. Andross is a bitch on the hard path.
Confession time, I never could get past the well as a kid. Scared the hell out of me until I was like 13. Creepy shit man.
I can't even... like... THIS GAME GO GET IT AND FUCKING PLAY IT WITH YOUR FRIENDS. *hysterical laughter* ITS SO BAD... THAT ITS GOOD...
Character creation... I'm fucking dying...

Re: Games from your childhood
Up until recently, I've only had a PC for a short amount of time when I've been five. And I'm pretty young anyways, so most of these games are not that old.
I still have it on my hard drive. It's perfect and never gets old.

Unreal Tournament 2004. That was the first videogame I think i had hype for and I have like, 400 hours into that game.

Re: Games from your childhood
Scrolling through this its impressive that most of us have played games in common.
Of course pretty much everyone's played AOE 2. Battlefront 2, I completely forgot about, but I did sink an ungodly amount of time into it. Never played the first Deus Ex. Later on, early teens, I played Invisible War and Future Perfect, and Stronghold 2.

Star Wars Battlefront I and II
Call of Duty 3
Metal Gear Solid 1-3
Resident Evil 1-4
Silent Hill 1
Classic Metal Gear Solid 1-2 ( 2D Arcade)
Pac-Man
Pokemon ( I USED to like this)
Super Mario Bros 1 and 3
Sonic the Hedgehog 1-3
There's still more games I've played. Can't remember every single each.

And finally, the first game I bought with my own money and wasn't a hand-me down or a trade.

Re: Games from your childhood
I didn't post Soldat because it's not a game of my childhood, I still play it.
I've downloaded Halo: Combat Evolved's demo (...the site with the demo is still online!) a month after completing Medal of Honor 2010 and Battlefield 3. I've enjoyed the demo far more than these two games combined. But multiplayer was just bad.

An absolute blast of a game, I got hooked on this game for months trying to beat it, and when I did it felt so satisfying.

Re: Games from your childhood
I've spent.. SOO long.. Getting all of these.. Here they are..
Nascar, I would play This with my dad when we were bored, Had some Good times going backwards purposely just to wreck everyone.
Driver was actually my first racing game, I remember playing this when I was four years old. ALways had fun running from cops
Driver 2 was really just a filler game after driver got stale..
hehe Flat out.. FLAT OUT was where I could effectively get my rage on
Battle field 1942.. This was the first video game i EVER PLAYED it is what brought me into the world of video games and will always be my favorite, I have actual videos of me being three years old nearly Four, Playing this game against my dad and actually winning.
The road to rome was really Good.. Granted it never did THAT MUCH for me.
hehe Secret weapons.. That one brought some cool stuff into play.
Vietnam.. This one I had enjoyed a lot, I still play it every now and than
Modern combat.. Was eh..
Star trek bridge commander.. I'll Be honest, I'm a trekkie Nerd, and This game. I ran into it by chance and I am happy I did. This game Was the most awesome, most immersive startrek game of them all.. It was really fun! ( especially when i ran borg mods)
Battle zone black dogs.. I actually ran into this after Playing Battle zone 2, Was.. Very retro I might add
Battle zone.. This game brought me hours of joy as I followed the ever changing story line of Lieutenant John Cooke As he chooses whether to stay loyal to humanity and the ISDF.. Or Do what is right and Help the scions
This was a cute little thing created, Don't remember much other than laughing hysterically
You can't tell me you didn't expect a under ground game, I mean seriously, BEST RACING GAME EVER!!
Meh.
my bae, Just.. Awesome
I will admit.. This one was lame.. Never got the hang of it.
This was the last need for speed game I've played.. And I'm glad I ended on the run.. It was awesome and I remember how excited I was that I got it, I nearly squeezed the life out of my cousin when I hugged her after unwrapping her present to me which read ''The run''
Honestly if I had to reccomend any of these games, It would be battle field 1942,Battle field vietnam, Battle zone 2, and Star trek bridge commander.. Maybe need for speed underground, need for speed most wanted AND need for speed The Run. That is all, Thanks for looking into my past of video games!
