Aliens: The Ultimate Doom (WAD)

I recently came accross a really well made, and still in development, WAD for Doom (Specially GZDoom) that is based on Aliens.

You can play as one of three Marine or one Weyland Yutani class, and have access to a wide range of guns we all know and love from the M41A, Smartgun, Flamer to a Minigun.

Amusingly there are four in game factions, they are.

* Aliens: We all know them, they range from Drones, Warriors to a Flying Alien and Praetorians, there's also a Queen in there. Fast and deadly these guys will flank you, kill you fast and their acid can really dent your day.

* Weyland Yutani Commandos: A uncommon faction, some Alien spawns can be replaced with Commandos (Think AvP2010 Combat Androids). These commandos don't have a lot of health, but they wield the powerful M41A or Flamer which can kill Aliens and you very quickly. Their Apesuit's make them immune to acid.

* Predators: Just like how it works for us, rarely a Praetorian spawn might be replaced with a Predator. Very powerful both in health and combat, they wield weapons such as their Wrist Blades, Plasma Caster, Spear Guns and Smart Disks. If they die they might even try and blow themselves up.

* Marines: Rarely fellow Marines might spawn in a map, they may die but they may also live.

Fascinating, I might actually play this.

Another fun game that represents the title of Alien, is AlienRL. It may lack graphics but I thought it was nice.
