Anyone interested in playing and maybe GMing call of cthulhu during the weekends?

How do you guys normally do this? IRC with a bot for logging and dice rolling or do you use some more specific software for this kind of thing?

Roll 20 has its own dice rolling mechanics,and its good for character roleplay and sheets
Examples of rolling dice
/r(roll) 1(how many)d(dice)100(type of dice)
In this case a /r 1d100 would roll a percentile AKA d100 dice,and it would pick a random number out of 100
It also has other stuff,also works as a calculator,any dice type works,like 1d10-5 would subtract 5 from the result and so on.
It also has a sort of map screen for GMs to draw or place images.

I've played a version of Call of Cthulhu before, it ended really well with me and making excellent climbing skills with my grappling hook. Anywho, is there still a slot open? I didn't get the opportunity to play in the other stories.

i dont know if i want to join you guys yet or not but i did have an inquiry regarding the system.

i actually have the call of cthulhu players handbook and compared to most other systems (for example, D&D, pathfinder or star wars saga) the book is INCREDIBLY light in terms of content, it really does feel like call of cthulhu is meant to be an add on to an existing system as opposed to its own dedicated one, do call of cthulhu games demand the gm 's homebrew alot of shit or otherwise pull alot of it out of their ass, or is it a certainty that you need to be running another D20 based system and then simply add the call of cthulhu mythos and rules to that system?

Players handbook....do you mean the investigators handbook? Thats mostly player stuff,the keeper book has most of the mechanics and rules.
Unless you mean older ones,in wich case i have only checked 7th edition.
Also skype game group is up,no schedule is set yet,waitin on snow

Hmm havent checked the 5.6 one,maybe its some updated rules for the 5th edition?
Either way i belive we are using 7th,if someone doesnt have it i can provide it for the game
