Looks gorgeous, but a little overdone with side paths imo. Other than that, looks pretty fluid and workable assuming there's a lot more to be seen.

There's going to be another colony area and a bunch of tunnels to a pyramid that will lead to a maze where the Xeno's will be.

Sounds radical, hope it's an added map. Looking forward to seeing additional progress.

I'm not a Development Staff so I don't think it will be used as a ground map. More of a side project I'm going to use for when I apply as a Mapper.

I approve of this map. No, really. I love it. A very welcome change from the colony and halloween map.

Is that... Not a jungle I see?

Yes, please.
In all seriousness, excellent work.

When the wind whips past your ears
Will you stand when the weight is upon you
Or will you go to your knees in fear?

I can see a few defendable areas and a bigger option for FOBs too.

I like the map a lot, and I hope something like it gets added to the map rotation eventually. Maybe remove some of the rock clusters and open up the map a tiny bit more? Feels a bit cramped in places with a lot of 1-3 tile wide chokepoints.

It may just be me but i'm kind of tired of all of cm's maps having the exact same rock sprite...

So an improvement for you're map would be a new rock sprite :)

Impassible sand dune sprites instead of rocks?

I can work on a rexture, but I'm going for mapper not spriter. Spriting is simple but repetitive and gets boring to me.

Gonna need some indicators in the temple to avoid it from being too frustrating gameplay-wise, but I'm liking the look a lot.

It's not an actual map that's going to be use.

but really, if you wanted to make a map for an application, include:

1. Powergrid
2. Atmos piping
3. Disposals system

I'm thinking I'll need to make a Spaceship or something too, making Atmos on a ground map doesn't really make sense unless I remove all the air.
