So, this video got me thinking about the etiquette you have to handle in answering BS in order to get a job: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2W0WsdLobq8
Especially, when the interview questions are not related to your knowledge and experience about the job in question at all. Instead, "do you have any hobbies?" "where do you see yourself in 5 years?". Does not matter whether you have hobbies or not if you are applying to become for example a welder. What matters is your knowledge about welding, not that whether you are a skydiver or not.

Kek yeah I've seen this.
George S.Patton once said:No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making some other poor dumb bastard die for his country.
I don't like cute things.
Good hunting.

The go-to answer for where do you see yourself in 5 years should always be "prison." It shows that you have a solid grasp on your future plans.

Yep job interviews are really an evaluation of how well you know the job you are applying for and how well you can ACT. Both the interviewer and interviewee knows that there is going to be a lot of BS to be said during the interview. It's all fake as is most interactions that people have on a daily basis.

Re: Job interviews
My honest answer would be "Really, few people stay in the same job for 40 years and earn a pension with it. Those times are long gone when your parents got a job as trainstation cleaner, stayed in it and earned a decent pension from that one job. In 5 years I would be either managing my own corporation or in a better paying job than this."Arachnidnexus wrote:The go-to answer for where do you see yourself in 5 years should always be "prison." And it gets even worse because of the recession. I know a big bank which only hires females, only males if they are athletes because "they do not get tired of working because of their good shape", which I see as a sexist reason. a single letter wrong in job application results in you losing the job and talking about your salary results in losing job too.Officialjake wrote:Yep job interviews are really an evaluation of how well you know the job you are applying for and how well you can ACT.
