Good 80s Films

Post by DesFrSpace » 05 Feb 2016, 00:51

If you can enjoy all type of music (genre), then oh boy, you might just enjoy all type of movies' gengre.
Anyhow, I'm just a bit tired of modern movie at the moment.
Let review what kind of 80's movie type you find in good taste.

Kung Fury in our lifetime, that was a good action pack fan-funded movie.

UHF: Weird Al Yankovic, because life suck when your Boss is corrupted.

StarShip Trooper 1: Marine in Space! Exterminating bugs! Federation.....

Samurai 2: DV just got this on, will try to update if I ever remember other good 80s movies.

Airplane 2: Prob my favorite comedy from the 80s, personal taste, the Airplane 1 is fine too.

And of course,
Aliens franchise, because this SS13: CM

Notice: I'm not here to promote or bash other people's taste, but there are few golds among the Johns.

EDIT:
► Show Spoiler
Thanks for adding to the list, hopefully got get more before organizing them and watching them.
Note: 80's movie does not have to be in the 80's, they can use the them, fit the time period.

Obligatory Aliens movie, of course.
Long live our Soviet motherland,
Built by the people's mighty hand.
Long live our people, united and free.
Strong in our friendship tried by fire.
Long may our crimson flag inspire,
Shining in glory for all men to see.

- Soviet Anthem 1944

I wasn't too big on Kung Fury, I love 80s movies but they tried way too hard.
Also Starship Troopers was released in 1997. Red heat is great if you like buddy cop movies, it stars Jim Belushi and Arnold Schwarzenegger

Going to have to agree with //N I loved and still do love princesses bride as a film, probably my favorite out of any film that I've watched really besides perhaps the first SST.
