BYOND help

So I posted on the BYOND forum about this but nobody has been able to help me yet, wondering if anyone in this community maybe has an answer or could help me. Every-time I attempt to connect to SS13 it will run me through the add, download resources but after that it freezes up, screen goes white and says (not responding). The odd thing is this only happens with SS13, I can launch and play all other games. I do not have avast, only windows defender, I made BYOND an exception, still an issue, I reset the computer to factory settings, still an issue (it did run on this computer a while ago). I am currently running windows 10 Pro (version 1511) on a Surface Pro 3.
