To start out, the spoiled section will contain spoilers but I'll give a brief rundown of the beginning of the movie and talk about the movie in general. I just got done watching it and made my way home to type this up.
The movie begins with a woman named Lee Weathers going to a top secret research lab where they are creating the next series of cyborg/android made with a robot virus spliced with human tissue. She is a corporate risk-management consultant and is being sent to evaluate whether or not the android needs terminated or allowed to live after the android attacks one of it's handlers. All of this is put on the plate in the first 20 minutes so no spoilers, just plot.
The rest is to be considered Read-At-Your-Own-Risk and contains spoilers and general badassitude that made the movie the best goddamn film I have ever seen in my entire life, bar none. I will be explaining basically the entire movie after this point so if you want to watch it instead of read it, don't click the spoiler.

After Lee gets settled in at the facility, the android psychiatrist comes to determine whether or not Morgan, the android, is stable or needs put down. Long story short, after a sorry excuse for a psychological manipulation fest, Morgan bites out the doctor's throat and gets put to sleep. She is laid on a table and ready to be painlessly killed before her handlers and creators change their minds, forcing Lee to intervene. She is then put to sleep herself and placed in the isolation chamber meant for Morgan, who is now free to roam the facility.
Morgan kills her creators one by one in some of the most brutal fucking kills I have seen on screen in recent years, hanging neck and neck with John Wick. The movie leading up to this point was generally creepy but then the chase is on as Lee and Morgan duke it out over several fights, both getting banged up in the process. Lee cannot stop Morgan from killing her caretakers and creators but Morgan refuses to kill one of her emotional response trainers because of the bond they share, leading them to a lake where a forest fight takes place and Lee inevitably does her job.
Kate Mara(Lee Weathers) does an absolutely stunning piece of work in this movie and every one liner she threw out made me want to pull a hype guy in the theater and just yell after each piece. The fights in the movie were extremely well done with each punch, kick, block, push, throw, and neck chop sounding brutal and would make those with a weak stomach run for the bathroom.
Anya Taylor-Joy(Morgan) plays a fantastic android experiment, which in my experience is hard to pull off with only a few other actors able to make me believe they were not human like Data from Star Trek the Next Generation or Zoie Palmer as The Android in the series Dark Matter, to name a few. She consistently shows a soulless robot until it begins to feel emotions, which run rampant as it is unable to control it's emotions throughout the film. Anger leading to murder, sadness leading to barely contained sobbing and weeping until it's true purpose is revealed to it and Morgan understands that it was made to be a killing machine, which in turn makes Morgan become a no nonsense, emotionless killing machine.
All in all I rate Morgan to be a solid 10/10 movie that I could watch again and again and still be on the edge of my seat through it all.
