Or we can just not be on any side and still keep our opinions.

I like to think of my personal ideology as a humanistic enlightenmentism.
As a side note, the libertarian left makes no sense. How can one have a government that is deeply involved in economics, but not in daily life? The same applies for the authoritarian right, but in reverse.

Charlton 'Stiffy' Cavalet-I'm probably in the CIC (or CL's office), by choice or RNG, who knows.

Phillip Driver, jack of all trades, reliable in some. Your typical jumpy flamer PFC or ammo fumbling CPL, always has a pair of ballistic goggles on him for unknown reasons. Will probably die mid sentence, because he talks (and gets bullied) too much for his own good. He has his moments though.
Jim, a Gen 2 Synthetic. Has a tendency to get melted to bits when planet side, and that's when he's behind barricades. Despite that, he's vigilant and always ready to drag you out of danger, even if it damages him in the process.

I take this test every so often, but it's decently inaccurate. I've found a better app on my phone which has a library of political books that come along with it, and when taking the test on there I end up as a far right classical liberal or a libertarian as opposed to the paleolibertarianism listed here, primarily because I think that as many responsibilities (and tax dollars) as possible (while still maintaining a state, of course), should be moved away from the government and privatized.

Re: The Political Compass
I consider myself to be conservative, but I was surprised that my views were on the left spectrum.
