[Xeno] Nested Stuns

Post by Swagile » 27 May 2017, 22:51

Bug Description: Xenos can tackle spam or neuro spit you in your nest and you can't resist while in nest as long as the stun from either persists. Message that spams is: You can't resist in your current state.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Get stunned in any way by a xeno while nested.
2. Try to resist.
3. Can't do it.

Yeah, this seems to happen when you are downed, either from paincrit or a stun or when resting, super annoying and i don't get why it was needed tbh

Don't believe this is a bug. I believe it was added recently. Granted, I agree not really sure why necessary.

I don't see this as a bug, honestly. You shouldn't be resisting if you are out cold

If a Xeno is intentionally spamming you to keep you down, that's a bit shitty, but that's more of a rule enforcement question

How is that a rule enforcement question? If you're aware that humans are able to break out of nests of course you'd tacklespam them to oblivion.

Marines used be able to resist despite being neuro'd, tackle spammed, or in pain critical to prevent such methods of shittery from keeping marines from attempting an escape via resisting their nest.

Thats been brought back by devs and I thought we were moving away from rule enforcement and instead gameplay elements to enforce rules?

What's the point of even complaining about these types of things anymore. There's like a 1/100 chance you'll escape being nested now so.. does it really matter? You weren't gonna escape if you were being guarded anyway. If you weren't being guarded, there is nothing to stop you then is there? RNGEE always favours the tackle, remember that meme.
