Post issues regarding the new barricade update in this topic. And remember to give bmc777 a hug next time you see him.
Known issues:
* Mobs greater than 1 tile in size (large Xenos) visually clip behind the barricade when in front of it.

People can face any direction while looking in scope. (can rotate chair and use binoculars and zoom in different direction that head direct). While sit on rotating chair near sansbags-boiler cant hit you with acid cloud.

The barbed wire slices into your hide!
NO MERCY! NO RESPITE!

Ravagers can charge through barricades not nesscarily destroying them but they just kinda go through them.
The same might apply to crushers too but i'm unable to confirm that.

Hunters, and Ravagers have been able to charge past barricades with no self stun for a while now even before the update.

Every baricade only gives 2 sheets of metal when deconstructed with tools, not destroyed.

when you put barbed wire on a sandbag barricade, then deconstruct it, it would be nice if it dropped the barbed wire along with the sandbags. currently it does not seem to and the wire is lost

when people start layering barricades together, it becomes difficult to tell if everything is positioned correctly. please add text to examine description that "it is facing south, and will block projectiles coming from the south" for example. i know that this is more of a suggestion than a bug but i hope it will be seen here anyways

if you unscrew and unwrench a barricade that had barbed wire on it, the sprite of the barricade is adjusted, by the barbed wire sprite is static.
For example, if you had a barbed wire metal barricade facing the south and you move it around to make it face east, the barricade will face east, but the barbed wire will face south.

Bug is that the pre-map spawned wooden barricades all face the same direction. (lv 624, probably other maps too.)

(Facing inwards towards the defender)
Effectively they look out of place as they all face the same direction.

the new wood barricades dont let you stand behind them like how other barricades work, but the new sprites for them look a bit better!

The sprites fo the barbed wire won't work correctly sometimes.
Here are two examples.
Sadly, I don't know under what circumstances these weird optical shifts occur.
I play Hans Meier, your random old guy from germany.
Is this a little medic Chibi Hans slightly different from the Avatar one? -->

Oh yes it is! All the credits and a huge thanks to Okand37 for these lovely marines!

i know they get like that if you put the wire then unscrew/unwrench them to pull them around. i would recommend that adding barbed wire change the barricade's sprite set to a different sprite set with the barbed wire on, rather than overlaying the wire as a separate sprite that gets stuck in different positions if you reposition the barricade

Barricades block grenades, despite when you're able to fire through them. The barricade will block it, and result in probably your's and everyone near you's demise.

if you were very patient and maneuvered yourself correctly, you could theoretically unscrew/unwrench metal/plasteel barricades and rewrench/screw them into the same tile for what is essentially a single super-health barricade, unless there are hidden features(besides how time consuming and tedious it is) that counter it

I think crusher charges damage all the barricades in that tile when a crusher rams into a barricade. Saw this in ice colony when I tried it out. Triple or double barricades only really help against xenos that take time to slash each cade, it seems.

If you hit a wooden barricade it goes invisible.

Also tends to happen rarely with grilles.

Barricades still block grenade launchers, not trying to be mean, but I made a report about it earlier, a few weeks ago. Please fix that shit.

Wooden barricads are going invisible because the game is searching for a 'damaged wooden barricade' sprite and there isn't one, I'd bet.

I believe it is because the destruction of a wooden barricade spawns a different type of barricade that currently has no sprite.
