Bug Description: Earlier in a round today, I accidently took off my ID, oblivious to the fact a turret was live right by my side, and thus I got gunned down. A medic was instantly there to assist me, patched my wounds, all that stuff, even managed to revive me. Now, usually, as far as I'm aware, you havwe a 5 minute timer once you die, and if you get resurrected, the timer is automatically reset back to 0 for another 5 minutes. After I was revived, I was put into a stasis bag, and brought up onto the Almayer, NOT dying, just paincrit. Once I was taken out, I obviously died to my injuries again, because I had no air, and for some reason, was instantly braindead instead of being revivable.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Die for some kind of reason.
2. Be revived, put into a stasis bag.
3. Be taken out of said stasis bag, watch the magic.

Stasis bags inflict genetic damage, which can bring you across the 200 HP threshold to becoming un-revivable. Are you sure that that isn't what happened?

Genetic damage will very quickly make you unrevivable.
Its one of the main reasons most (good) medics avoid using stasis bags as being in one even for half a minute is enough to render your unrevivable if you die.

Wait, so if you put someone into a stasis bag after being critical, you get genetic damage from it?

you put anybody at all into a stasis bag, no matter the health, they get genetic damage

I'm not sure if that is supposed to be a feature to balance them out..Jaketeaking wrote:you put anybody at all into a stasis bag, no matter the health, they get genetic damage
