Bug Description:
You're able to interact with things such as the windows by knocking on them and pushing buttons.
Steps to reproduce:
1.Look up a ladder.
2.Knock on the windows or push buttons.
3.Some how manage to be a ghost.

Was told it might be intentional. Some people throw grenades down the ladder and some people destroy stuff down the ladder so...

This isn't intentional.

The code isn't meant to allow any sort of interaction while you're looking at the other side. Infernus confirmed as much before he took his vacation. I'm looking at the code now.

Okay. The only thing I found out with the code (from my short knowledge of things) is how close your character is to whatever is below the ladders. For example, you can actually look down the ladder and interact on the ladders below - you climb up.
Any kind of interaction works, but ONLY if your character is around the 3x3 range - even from a different z-level.
So, like, it's even possible with Overwatch - can confirm. Get someone with an SL helmet, have them stand near you. You can click on items through the cam, as long as your character is close enough to interact with it.
Careless, as usual.

Basically, the SL headcam is a portal you can stick your arm through.

Oh god. That means we can help the SL from a nest and throw grenades into an alien belly?!
Heresy.

no no, it's still within your character's 3x3 range. by no means does the camera view extend your interaction range, though I have no idea where Lazarus' z-level overlaps under Sulaco Bridge or if it even does, but if it does, it'd still work like the ladders.
Careless, as usual.

You sir, may have found the actual issue. That's pretty hilarious.

To be honest it was easy to figure out, as soon as Infernus said they stripped the Overwatch code for the ladders

It confirmed my suspicious that you could interact through the SL helmet without actually having to test it out. Though I may still need to do that.

I vote we keep the bluespace helmets as a hilarious feature.
