Bug Description:
Its unknown if this is a bug or a feature, but mines are triggering due to ID-less dead bodies as well as ID's inside PDA's
I would think of it as a bug due to:
-Sentries not shooting dead ID-less bodies and PDA ID's.
-Change notes that say mines can be hidden under dead bodies still
-Change notes saying that mobs and only mobs could set off mines if the ID check fails.
Now, i would think dead bodies wouldnt trigger ID checks, as well as PDA ID's not triggering ID checks.
If i am wrong, and this is actually the case, it should be made more clear that the ID check system for mines is not the same ID check system for sentries.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Drag Dead Xeno over mine to trigger assembly
2. Walk over a mine with an PDA-ID.
3. Unknown if anything else might be the cause.

Mine Triggers?
Gaze upon me,
for I have wandered deep into the ancient tombs of knowledge to which lie madness and sorrow, cleansing a path for all those who walk behind me...
...
But seriously, does uh, anyone know the way out?!
~Furthermore, I consider that Floodlights should no longer be destroyed.~

Re: Mine Triggers?
In the past, dead bodies didn't trigger the mines. However, under the recent rework of prox mines, the changelog states that even dead mobs can trigger mines..
RIP Xeno corpses, Survivors, Mister Wiggles, Lisa, Cow, mouse, naera and other random mobs...
p.s. This can lead to an exploit actually, which I'm sure not many know of yet. Not gonna state how it can be exploited cause then people would exploit it...

Re: Mine Triggers?
I had a laugh when I triggered a mine with a dead xenos body.
I hope you had one too.

Re: Mine Triggers?
Im looking at the change logs, and there's only two relevant changes like that
aug 19th:
You can no longer hide claymores under objects. Mobs (including all bodies) is fine
Aug 22nd:
Fixed claymores going off if an object is dragged/thrown through it. Now mobs and only mobs can set them off, if the ID check fails
This is confusing thing imo, in that you expect mines to do an ID check, and a check to see if the object is alive. As far as the exploits go, im guessing a xeno player can just drag a dead corpse near a mine and place them on the mine to trigger it without having to risk a slash explosion, which does sound fishy, smart but fishy.
