MP Clarification
I would like a quick staff clarification based on the MP section of the wiki. The article states that MPs hold authority over marines and squad leaders (which I suppose is situational) and that they are allowed to carry one sidearm (which contradicts the rule which states they may not carry ANY sidearms). Since I frequently play MP, a rule clarification would be nice before I go and follow these.

Re: MP Clarification
I was meaning to actually talk to a admin or someone about this actually. I wanted to actually make a wiki guide for security because ever since I started on space station I have either played in medical or security. Why I do not have any engineering or real cargo experience. Why I avoid such things on this server, but I wanted to bring about a few changes to this and if anyone would be interested I think we could make a few changes to make this right and not so confusing.

I think command shouldn't be protected in my opinion, for example in other stations if needed the captain could be arrested if there was a need for it. I think it would allow Mps a good service if they had a commander who might be shooting up the Sulaco or whatever. Just my thoughts on this, it is good for crimes, but I think some things could be changed.

High Command, not the Commander.Adam Hunter wrote:I think command shouldn't be protected in my opinion, for example in other stations if needed the captain could be arrested if there was a need for it. Re: MP Clarification
I posted about an MP Wiki entry once, actually. MP brutality is common from what I've seen, and the players who do this suffer no IC consequences because so many players have the attitude of "Might is always right." and that excessive force isn't a thing.
It needs to be CLEAR that beating someone's head in because they made fun of your mother as an MP isn't acceptable behavior and any actual officer would be given a psych eval and might just be fired.

MP's are scrubs, probably because I main one. But truth to be told, many MP's do not know how to play their role right and actually act before thinking which pisses me off.
