Amur'esh Ju'sak - Whitelist Application
Byond ID:LocalizedDownpour
Marine Name (so we know who you are, if you play alien mostly, state that here): Reina Sanada
Name of the character you want whitelisted (The name your predator will use. This must match your in-game predator name): Amur'esh Ju'sak
Are you familiar with the Predator Code Of Honor?
I am familiar
Character background (A very BRIEF description of your predators background): Never content for a small trophy, or 'easy' game. Amur'esh always went for the biggest, meanest creatures he was able to get his blades into sense he was able to walk and fight on his own. While having no notable kills until his Trial to adulthood. He saw the trophies of other hunters. The mighty Serpents, and while even a small Serpent was a noteworthy kill, it was the Queen's skull that caught his eye, the larger the more he wanted it for his own. Each human skull he asked about had a story of a mighty warrior. Though when the time of his Trial came he found himself afraid. With two other unblooded they hunted a small clutch of drones. While his counterparts teased with range and stalking closer Amur'esh charged forward once he had seen the beasts retreating, wanting to show his mettle to the Elite hunters that watched his trial. Come it's end one of the trio had died, but the Serpant's were slain. It's the rush he lives for, the glory of being on the hunt an inch from death, knowing that his next trophy will surpass his previous.
How do you intend to play your predator (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your predator. This will weigh HEAVILY and frequently breaking from this MAY result in removal)?
I intend to only hunt those that are, in the case of Aliens, not young or at least T3. Unless the planet is absolutely crawling with them. I only intend to harm the younger tiers when swarmed or they trespass into my staging area for hunts and would prefer to scare away lesser tiers as opposed to kill them outright. In the case of marines, I intend to leave them well enough alone unless one proves to be a worthy challange or other such RP situations dictate I harm them such as being shot on sight without a word. In the case of survivors, it is a mixed bag. On one hand, I would like to touch on the apprentice aspect of the lore seeing as humans have been brought into the culture before, this will be handled on a case by case basis of kill/recruit/let be. Only wanting the best of kills, in the most honorable of ways I intend to defer to melee weapons like the glaive, combistick, or wrist blades on a case by case basis, using ranged weapons to deter interlopers, or kill intruders, or to battle a foe that refuses to meet in melee.
Why should we whitelist you?
I play here quite abit, I had applied before but was denied due to time reasons. I feel like I would make for a good predator that has the potential to flavor a round not just with a kill/trophy count but with some fun dialogue and interesting scenes.
Have you been banned from CM in the last month for any reason (we will check, and lies may result in immediate denial)?
Never banned
Are you currently banned from any other servers and if so, why?
Not currently
Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or disobey the Predator Code of Honor?
I understand.

Re: Amur'esh Ju'sak - Whitelist Application
This is very generic. Not much is great about this. The basis of your predator is basically that he does what most predators do, and I don't believe that is whitelist worthy.
-1. Generic, bland. Nothing going for you other than the fact you're a mod, but I don't believe that counts for much here.

You just came back to the game and returned as mod; I think you should have waited a month or two before submitting an application.

Re: Amur'esh Ju'sak - Whitelist Application
While you seem like a swell person from when we've spoken ingame, I haven't seen your character and how (or if) you RP, which is a huge aspect of the app, so I can only go off what is written.
The backstory, as noted, is a bit bland and short which seems a bit generic, similarly to the playstyle that doesn't offer too much new to the Predator scene.
Above all of that, you've just recently returned to the staff team and the server overall, and I'm fairly certain that you need to spend some more time here so that those who have not known you before can get to know you and provide their supports.
-1 for stated reasons. :<

Re: Amur'esh Ju'sak - Whitelist Application
Instead of using my new policy of answering applications, because I've met you, and you really are a good guy, the application just isn't up to the standard set for Predators. Yes, being staff gives you a higher chance because we're assured that you're responsible with power, but I think this is just too soon, with too little effort put in.

Debateable. I've seen things that make me believe otherwise, which i why i usually disregard their rank on the servers.Boltersam wrote:Yes, being staff gives you a higher chance because we're assured that you're responsible with power,

Debateable indeed, however I believe CM has the most responsible admins out of any that I know.LordeKilly wrote:Debateable. I've seen things that make me believe otherwise, which i why i usually disregard their rank on the servers.

Not sure where it's lacking. I gave a pretty detailed overview of how I intend to play. The only thing I can think of is the story, but the rule says 'Very Brief' So. Not sure where to apply the criticism.

Re: Amur'esh Ju'sak - Whitelist Application
Take a look at the accepted applications, read how they use elements of the lore and usually have a unique trait or bit of story behind them. Those are typically lengthier. You also didn't spend much time in the reasons for whitelisting. Other than that, it's really bland, not much to build off of and really nothing special in general.LocalizedDownpour wrote:Not sure where it's lacking.
