Kv'var-de'Tanu (Hunter of Death) - Kihatomay's Yautja Application

Post by Kihatomay » 20 Dec 2016, 09:37

Byond ID: Kihatomay

Marine Name (so we know who you are, if you play alien mostly, state that here): Sam Fjorson is my Marine, but I primarily play as a Xenomorph

Name of the character you want whitelisted (The name your predator will use. This must match your in-game predator name): Kv'var-de'Tanu

Are you familiar with the Predator Code Of Honor? Yes.

Character background (A very BRIEF description of your predators background):
► Show Spoiler

How do you intend to play your predator (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your predator. This will weigh HEAVILY and frequently breaking from this MAY result in removal)? Kv'var-de'Tanu prefers to hunt fully grown defensive and offensive purposed R'ka (Xenomorphs) over fitting human prey, however if an adequate human prey should present itself, he will allow them to honorably duel him for their survival and respect, or give them an honorable death. In order for his prey to be deemed fit to be hunted, they must be capable fighters, and have to have killed or captured three or more marines as a Xenomorph, or killed four or more Xenomorph as a Marine. Any beings without weaponry or visible combat prowess do not interest Kv'var-de'Tanu. In order for the prey to be considered fit to duel him, they have to be extraordinary in comparison to their peers, showing mastery over combat. He watches, and stalks, observing the prowess of those who may find themselves in combat against him, if they prove worthy.

Why should we whitelist you? I am an avid CM fan and really enjoy the concept of roleplaying as a predator. I also have fairly extensive knowledge of the Yautja race and their methods/culture.

Have you been banned from CM in the last month for any reason (we will check, and lies may result in immediate denial)? No.

Are you currently banned from any other servers and if so, why? No.

Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or disobey the Predator Code of Honor? Yes.

Few things, background seems bland and predators don't duel xenomorphs, they hunt them, it's akin to a wolf dueling a sheep, if the sheep had acid blood and razor claws. Also your play style seems.... a lot similar to some other current applications play styles, ahem. Also very little forum activity maybe in the future? -1

Loved the story, actually. Like your reason for whitelisting, like the way you'll play your pred, as it's pretty common but shows a refined taste in gameplay factors.

Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with you in-game, and I can't say your forum activity is that great either.

Still, based on the other factors I'm willing to leave my vote as neutral for now. I'll try to watch for you this week.

I Will just give my opinion If the Staff don't mind it.

The Background Is pretty Ok,Not bad,not amazing. The way Kihatomay would play was a Predator Is a bit more generic, but,we can pass it.Now the prob is,Your forum activity and your activity in game.Xenos can't really be known so,this make things a bit harder....Never saw A marine called "Sam Fjorson",Don't really know who you are man.If I were someone from staff ,or,a pred,I would remain neutral, learning to 1-.Sorry,try to play more was a marine so we can know you.

I'll be playing marine a lot then, get my roleplaying ability seen, hopefully by all of you, and reintegrate myself into the community while my app still stands.

I've seen you before ingame, not the best at RP. Pretty bland playstyle, story was good though. Neutral

A better comparison could have been a man hunting a wolf.
I'm stressing way too hard about what to put here, so I'm just gonna leave it blank.... or....

I'll admit, that was a grammatical oversight, he prefers to hunt xenomorphs, but he will duel other humanoid species(marines) if they prove worthy fighters. It will just be rarer for me to take interest in a skilled human than for me to choose a deadly xeno to hunt.

I'd be willing to change to a cautious +1... I really like this app.

I will warn you that it might be difficult for you to be accepted, since I don't think a lot of the community knows you very well. If you aren't, I'd encourage you to try again in a few months. You have a really good attitude, it seems, for playing a whitelisted role.

I'll stand neutral for the time being, I have seen you back in your marine days or rather knew or seen you as marine way back. On a further note, I shall fully review this app and give my feedback.

Long time ago, I, Ka'Torag-na Halkrath, Skilled Master Hunter Of Prey, Unleashed an unspeakable evil upon Xenos and Humans! But a foolish Xeno Hunter wielder of robustness stepped forth and opposed me. Before the final blow was struck, I tore a gate of Salt of Solitude and flung em into the world of CM, and took out their Facehugger Capabilities! Now, this Xeno Fool seeks to return the favour, and undo my evil reign and of many other predator predecessors!

I'm not passing you my approval untill you begin increasing your amount of posts. You've been around for a while and I only see you have 20~ posts at the time. Sorry if it sounded rude or not, but just fix these few details for now.

I do value activity a lot and your contribution is meager compared to some people. Have a nice day, checking this later.
CM was obviously inspired by Starcraft: Ghost opening. At least when marines takes too long to deploy.

Not a bad application, aside the dank halls, which I thought was kind of funny in an off-hand way. In terms of having specific numbers, you might want to reconsider that. It's very difficult to track prey in the first place, not to mention observing them kill without being involved in the massacre. I have no idea who you are though, and your forum activity is very low. Neutral for now.

Forum activity has not increased in about 2 weeks, I'm beginning to lean for a solid -1. I don't have much knowledge of your existence beside this post.
