-1 You are too new, and a katana is not a Yautja weapon. There is no reason a youngblood predator would have one, unless he took it from a trophy room. Something he should probably not do on his first hunting trip. Either way, you need to look up a bit more Yautja lore before reapplying. I like your attention to detail, and I think you can do well next time.

Janina 'Bullseye' Jardine- Never misses, but what she DOES hit is another thing
This place would be so much better if marines were replaced with cyborgs, atleast those would follow orders. assuming there was a rule forcing them to do so...

Re: Setg'in H'Chak (Deadly Mercy) Predator Application
I do appreciate the criticism, I did look into Predator/Yautja (if you wanna get nerdy) Lore, I mean, my only reason source of Lore is from the Xenopedia of Yautja, I made a grave mistake of having a katana, I could've sworn there was somewhere I read they had them, but I was mistaken, I re-read the Xenopedia, and I was incorrect. Mistakes happen and I am fully aware of the consequences that come with it, thank you for liking my detail, I really did want to show off that I knew a bit about the lore, of course that back fired when I put in having a Katana eh? I'm not trying to change your mind, but just wish it provide my reasoning for such faults, while being new isn't something you can change, it's certainly something you can wait for, something I honestly don't have much for, sadly.forwardslashN wrote:-1 You are too new, and a katana is not a Yautja weapon. But, when you say next time, I'm not saying I'm going to be accepted but, when you do well, was there anything else I could add to my application for it to be more appealing to you? Or at least better? Or have you told me everything you find wrong with my application?

Xenopedia is a good place to start. There are also other websites I would recommend looking, such as:shyshadow wrote:I do appreciate the criticism, I did look into Predator/Yautja (if you wanna get nerdy) Lore, I mean, my only reason source of Lore is from the Xenopedia of Yautja, I made a grave mistake of having a katana, I could've sworn there was somewhere I read they had them, but I was mistaken, I re-read the Xenopedia, and I was incorrect. The more information you have, the better your chances are.
I look for a few things in an application. Understanding the lore and the responsibilities that come with playing a whitelisted role are primary. If you're applying for a position that involves roleplay, having a good grasp of RP and writing also really help. Being whitelisted is a privilege, so you should be prepared to have a good application from the get-go. Every person who is accepted to be a predator makes an impact of public opinion of predators as a whole. If you just want to play because it has cool gear and can kill, that's the wrong mindset.
You shouldn't be helping people as a predator. There are rare times you should show mercy, or intervene to save someone, but that should not be the core of your character. You are a hunter, first and foremost, and that means being the bad guy. That doesn't mean you're going to be the bad guy all the time, but you will be playing an antagonist. Helping your prey, or otherwise being nice to people, isn't what you should be doing. You should be killing and maiming and taking trophies, but doing so honorably. There's a lot of variation you can have in this scenario, just keep in mind what the role is intended for.
Good luck.
