Character background (A very BRIEF description of your predators background):

From birth, Nracha-dte tried to model himself as the perfect hunter, a stoic, yet stubborn creature that knew his physical limits, yet always strode to test and push them. He excelled in his training as a warrior and in his mind his future as a blooded predator wasn't something up to chance, it was simply something he would accomplish, without doubt. Yet as he trained, as he sparred and as he tested his physical limits, he came to realise that he had ignored his clan, his brethren, he had only bothered to focus on securing his future, he was rarely interrupted in his training because no one felt it necessary to converse with someone that had clearly cut himself off from everything but the preparation for the hunt. For some time he contemplated this reality, but, unable to shake his stoic demeanor and belief in becoming 'the perfect hunter', he simply convinced himself that he would just have to force his clan members to acknowledge him through his actions, his power, and his honor.

Eventually the day came that Nracha-dte was to join two other un-blooded on a hunt to secure their future as warriors, they were transported to a hunting planet and left to their own devices, and as he had expected, he tracked down a Serpent and slew it in one on one combat. The beast put up an honorable fight, he retracted his wrist blades and set about his next task, however as he prepared to remove the creature's skull and claim it as his trophy, the freshly-blooded predator found he had been the prey of another serpent, he heard the new arrival slink through the underbrush of the jungle and turned to face it, for this fight however, he unsheathed his clan sword sensing a much stronger fight hidden in the serpent. The serpent hissed as it slowly crawled out of the cover the jungle had provided for it, and brought its clawed arms to bear on the predator, and a tense battle ensued in the following moments, ending with Nracha-dte emerging victorious at the cost of a serious wound to his right eye, his sight damaged but his pride intact he hid the pain the wound brought him underneath the bandage he covered it with and set about collecting his three trophies, as he did this he lamented that he should've brought stronger armor, it would suit him well in his future.

As Nracha-dte returned to the Elites that brought him to the site of his triumph, he noted the other two predators had also successfully collected a trophy from the serpents, though he also noticed he was unable to recall their names. As the elites handed the newly-blooded their plasma casters and applauded them on their triumphs, it was only the elites that took notice of his bountiful success, the other predators seemed not to pay much attention to him, as if they simply expected this kind of performance from him. As the group journeyed back to their clan's home Nracha-dte thought about his life and his place in the clan, he came to the realization that his actions had made other members of the clan come to the same conclusion he had, his becoming blooded was not up to chance, it was simply a reality waiting to happen. He realized that he would not be acknowledged for his achievements this day, as this was not outside of his fellow clan members expectations, he would continue to be left alone to his training, never exceeding his clans expectations of him, only ever matching them. With this knowledge in hand he continued to contemplate his future, not as a warrior, but as a clan member. Would he choose to break out of chains his stoic demeanor and belief in becoming 'the perfect hunter' had placed upon him and open up to his clan? Or would he simply continue his life in the hopes that he was wrong, and that he would be acknowledged, revered even, for his relentless pursuit in gaining the title he so desired? There was much to consider and much to do, but for now Nracha-dte was content in knowing he held his future in his hands, not in his thoughts.

How do you intend to play your predator (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your predator. This will weigh HEAVILY and frequently breaking from this MAY result in removal)?

I intend to have my predator live up to his name, relentlessly hunting down his prey, regardless of what lies in his path. I do not however intend to simply blast my way through FOB's with a plasma caster or murderbone any old xenomorph that happens to cross my path, however I'd still like to take a very hostile approach to the situation, by trying to make either side understand who it is I'm after, and then taking appropriate action after seeing how they react, sort of as a warning that he won't be stopped.

I plan on taking a much less stealthy route, preferring to use cloak minimally and use my physical presence as a deterrent for others to interrupt my hunt, I'd definitely make use of the smart-disk in case of a "he's after a standard, lets everyone get 'em" situation, and would try to fend off the marines through physical strength rather than cloaking and relying on a plasma caster. I'd try to make use of the vox caster frequently during my initial encounters with each side, and would definitely use it to help them understand my hunt. I'd most likely end up taking the heavier suit of clan armor in an attempt to increase my chances of survival in the situations I expect to have occur. Generally I'm hoping to avoid situations where large groups open fire on me for hunting down a single opponent, but I do expect they'll occur and will be gearing my pred towards being prepared to try and survive a fight in that kind of environment, rather than to cloak and re-engage at a safe distance.

Why should we whitelist you?
I believe I'm fully capable of upholding the Code of Honor and at the same time bringing interesting RP and gameplay experiences to the round. I've recently been trying to kick my old behavior and try to give back to the community, and I believe this is another way I can give back to the community and show that I'm a responsible player. I'd like to be given the opportunity to prove that I'm correct in this regard.

The only thing I personally didn't enjoy about your story is that you, as an unblooded killes three aliens in melee.

I realize your pred trained all his life for this, and that does make it a bit more realistic, but these are alien hunters we're talking about. Just a nitpick though

You also never refer to any weapon while fighting. I dunno if this was intended or not, but after reading the entire thing I still don't know what you want your main weapon to be.

You're a good player in game, you might have a bit of a note history but sibxe you became a mod I think that won't be a problem

Thanks for the info, I'll definitely ammend the fight to include weapons used, and will definitely change the xenomorph threat to be much more appropriate.

Karmac has come a long way from his history of being a shitter. He's helped the community a lot, and done excessive amounts of work on the wiki. He's since then become staff and continued to help people on the server.

The background is decent and tells us about the Predator's motivations and gives it some actual, tangible weakness in its pride and ambition. No in-depth analysis here, because it's solid, though a little on the short side.

"How you intend to play your Predator" is a style many people haven't taken before. Everyone wants to be sooper sneaky pants scaring people, but you're doing a far more aggressive theme that would carry on somewhat well ingame. My issue with this is that it'll start some rather large manhunts to try to kill you as you'll end up drawing more people into conflict if your prey escapes your grasp.

In my opinion, Karmac is nothing if not suited for the role. He's flawed, we all are, but he's done his utmost to improve himself in order to help others, which isn't something I could say for myself. +1.

*Claps* Wow, well done Karmac, I haven't known you for all that long and I haven't been on this server for all that long. I can say that this is a well made app, from start to finish. It's understandable, plenty of effort put into it unique, I could go on and on about why this application is probably one of the most well suited applications out there. Being aggressive is a rare instance of where most people think on that's it's just un-predator like, but it's probably one of the most predator things out there. You have my support, +1

I think you've done really well since becoming staff, and your story and playstyle are pretty cool. I like how the predator has some internal conflict, and the aggressiveness is a welcome change. I do hope you don't end up getting over your head, or revealing your presence too early. If not for the recent jobban, I think this entirely acceptable for an application. Though ODing on your own meds as CMO is hilarious. Anyway, +1, assuming the jobban is the only thing you were banned for.

If I remember correctly I was experimenting with what I thought was very safe levels of hyperzine, and then didn't realise that dylovene doesn't work with it and killed myself with toxin damage, and at some point I'd handed a bottle to two other marines, thinking it was completely safe, they presumably died from the pills as well. I decided to stop mucking around with Hyperzine after that incident.

This is exactly the type of predator I was about to tell the chatbox about wanting to see played. We have many of the, stay cloaked and observe everything preds; so a more all out, less inclined for personal safety one sounds great.
