Character background (An ADEQUATE description and story of your predators background):

- Vanuk as a young blood has always been naturally strong. Even with such a "quirk", He lacked something most yautja had, Intelligence. He wasn't completely brain dead, But he wasn't as quick witted as his fellow Yautja, Instead acting before thinking. This mindset however, has gotten him in trouble many times, enough times for him to be put back into the shape of a fine hunter...Though, He is still not as bright.

Since the day he understood what companionship was, Vanuk has always been protective of his fellow Yautja. When watching honor duels, The sight of watching a fellow Yautja fall was painful to him. With this sense of connection, he let it drive most of his actions. Even if the code of honor was all he knew to be right and true, he always felt great regret in not assisting his brother's in their time of need.

Vanuk's very first hunt was on the desert planet, Ryushi. The sun was sweltering, but not enough to break the young blood's spirit. The desert was long, almost endless, But it bore what the young blood came for. A wild Rhynth. The creature was enormous, but not big enough to intimidate the bold young blood. With a quick shuffle of his feet, he made his way upon the tallest mound of sand, The heated sun lighting behind him as he drew his spear. With one swift and powerful throw, He hit the Rhynth in it's side, but that was not enough to take the beast down, Instead it only served to anger the beast. It turned it's head to Vanuk, fire in it's eyes as it charged into the front of the mound, the yautja falling infront of the beast. With a similar quickness, Vanuk gripped the horns of the beast. Vanuk was strong, But the beast was stronger. It drove him against the mound, it's heavy body leading an unstoppable charge of force into the Hunter's chest, a roar emitting from behind his mask as he reeled in pain. He was determined to be victorious against the beast, So with all his might he pushed against it, his legs digging deep into the hot sand, the beast exhaling a heated gust almost like steam. The beast bellowed, and Vanuk roared, his hand setting free of the horn just long enough to grab his spear, but in that same amount of time, the beast lowered it's head and jammed it into Vanuk's lower abdomen. With a roar of pain and anger, He finished off the beast with a stab to the head with his spear, the beast continuing to push a few seconds longer until it gave out. Vanuk eventually retrieved the horn, as well as his kill. The young hunter was wounded, but victorious.

In his second hunt with a fellow Yautja, They returned to the same planet of Ryushi. But this time, It was different, All of the Rhynth were domesticated by humans. This infuriated the young hunter, the once fierce prey becoming nothing more than cattle. He sought to then take the human's as prey instead, The one who was armed. He had to be suitable. Tall, Well toned, Healthy...Armed. As he prepared to preform his attack, His brother yautja stopped him. He insisted there were more prey elsewhere, more worthy prey. As they were conversing however, The human spotted Vanuk as his cloaking was left off. Without a thought, the human fired, hitting Vanuk in the shoulder, his head turning quickly as he roared in pain. His 8'6" form stood tall among the hills, his fist raising in the air as his spear glowed in the sun. Another shot fired off, and he was hit in the chest, right between his ribs. In his weakened state, The yautja assisting him began his attack as well, but the human was not alone. The gunfire alerted others to his presence and he was instantly outnumbered. They began to fire upon the yautja, hitting him numerous times and putting him down enough to keep him from fighting. Vanuk witnessed this and attempted to save his brother, but it was too late. With a wide, blue glow and a sparks, everything in that area was evaporated, but Vanuk was long gone. From then on, Vanuk spitted humans for what they took from him.

How do you intend to play your predator (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your predator)?

-As a predator, I hope to pursue more roleplay as opposed to gameplay. When I am in a gameplay scenario, I intend to follow the ideals of my character, that being he is strong and lacking in high intellegence. But defensive of his fellow Yautja when facing dishonorable prey.

Why should we whitelist you?

-I think you should whitelist me because I have an opportunity to bring more interesting roleplay scenarios to rounds as a predator. I think that with this role, I can provide something more interesting to marines and fellow predators alike.

Have you been banned from CM in the last month for any reason (we will check, and lies may result in immediate denial)?

-I have been banned once, I am not sure what the date of this ban was however. The ban was for a VPN.

Are you currently banned from any other servers and if so, why?

-I am not banned from any other servers being that CM is the only one I play on.

Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or disobey the Predator Code of Honor?

-I understand this clearly, As I do not intend to break any of the rules, or Code of honor.

Story is not the best I've seen, but not the worse either. Short too.
Most answers are also short.

With all these, I am gonna have to give a -1. I would usually give a neutral leaning towards -1 on normal apps, but this is the predator app.

I can understand the story not being exactly amazing, because I myself am not a good writer or story teller. I am open to advice on how to improve that. I don't really understand how much longer you'd like my questions to be however. I'd also like to know more about that.

Seen you around before, not really a stand-out roleplayer but not very negative either, playstyle is literally just "i'll rp more k?" forum activity is low, you made this a month after your forum account, backstory is neutral, not very lore-friendly that your pred would help other preds in their hunts, while it is okay if they want to do a joint hunt or chasing off dudes interfering in a duel, you shouldn't be interfering in their hunts with some exceptions.

Forum activity is low as well, you made this literally a month after you made your account, get more playtime in, RP more, work on your backstory and a creative playstyle, -1.

Don't use those 3 months just to learn more about the lore, use it to show that you can RP well, get your name out there, post more on the forums and improve your backstory and playstyle.

Backstory ain't great on predator description and length.
You got some of your Predator lore wrong.
How you're going to play your predator is the basically requirements of playing Predator.
You're reasoning to be whitelisted is simply "because I can roleplay".

Okay, I was going to go into depth on this but this post summed up the majority of my concerns. Now I don't comment on the backstory alone when I say this but your playstyle is that you're going to RP more?

You sound like a good person down on discord but perhaps you should read up on the code of honour and the predator lore a bit more. Gotta know that we discuss the lore together all the time. It's best you know it inside and out because it really isn't that complicated or difficult.

Encourage you to take the next couple months if you’re declined to really pour over the lore, show you can RP by becoming more well known, and throw another app up.

It’s not the worst app, but it’s a stretch to call it average.

Forum activity could use some improvement, but its not all if you are active in say...in-game or on discord for example.
Havent really seen you play, from what I remember, so aside from these two things most of whats been said above is also weighing it down a bit due to the flaws presented.
So might be best to reread the lore and reference it when re-making the App, should this one fail.

-1 Sorry to say but I can't support this, Your story is fairly short and as stated by other players, you have failed at certain parts of the Lore, I personally don't know who you are, Though this isn't a bad thing. Your note history isn't terrible but it's not spotless.

My Personal advice, Get known by the Community on Forums, Discord and Ingame, Reread the lore and make a better backstory.

Additionally what else can you bring to the table on why we should whitelist you, We've had multiple players who said the same but ended up just using the role to grief, Meme and bring Low RP into the round.

I have seen you around and you did play the quirk your name suggests. Haven't had muc opportunity to interact with you though, but it's a good start.

Story is a bit bland and could be improved as others suggested. I would focus it less on other predators and more on your character though - what did *they* do to stand out.

The Predator "quirk" is a bit lacklustre as well. Predators should be able to prove that they can hunt on their own, and someone else coming to save you is just a black mark on your honour. Similarly, a strong and dumb Predator probably won't stand out in the playstyle - would it just not use traps and other tools and just go straight for the kill? You generally want to try having more nuance, not less.

So -1 for now, with a positive outlook on your future application.

All of my concerns have been mentioned already but I'm going to repeat it quickly. Research lore more, doesn't really go into depth for how to play beyond more roleplay. The thing about Predators is that their roleplay turns into gameplay very fast. Being able to be spooky and create atmosphere is all well and nice but marines will shoot them and xenos will hug them given the chance.

Your application is not equivalent to those accepted in terms of quality. The way in which you plan to play as already quoted by others is too generical to be considered, and there is a noticeable inexperience of Yautja's lore. Nevertheless, I must not repeat what has already been said.
