I have read through the Predator Code of Honor several times and believe I understand the different types of prey, honor dueling, and the rest.


Character background (An ADEQUATE description and story of your predators background):
It was storming, as it had been for the past several days that Myh'Zeh was on the hunt. The rain barely bothered her, and
she knew it barely bothered her prey too. For her hunt to become blooded, Myh'Zeh was currently hunting one of the age
old prey of the Yautja: A Xenomorph. She had only seen it a few times, and from great distances at that, but she could tell
it was getting weary. Each time she spotted it more blood leaked from wounds left by her traps, and it stumbled through
the forest they inhabited with little regard to stealth now, just searching for that which hunted it. It was alone, the
xenomorph, but a lone xenomorph is not to be underestimated, as the young-blood knew. Her compatriots seemed so much
more eager to prove themselves... The sky lit up with another crack of lightning and the overwhelming thunder, and once
it was dark again Myh'Zeh started moving. The end was close, her next trap in place, the xenomorph moving towards it without
realizing, only thinking that it's chasing her.
An enraged, alien screech, and Myh'Zeh knew she timed it just right as she fell through the tree leaves feet first, slamming
into the back of the xenomorph. It whirled on her quickly even as it was caught in her leg trap, throwing her away before she
could get a hold on it. Landing on her back and rolling to her feet and hands, crouched, and was able to see her prey in its full
glory. As a combat caste of the legendary xenomorphs, it was large, even taller than Myh'Zeh, and its claws were about as sharp
as her own wristblades. In that moment the xenomorph lunged straight at her. Myh'Zeh dodged and then rushed it herself, wristblades
coming out at the last second to tear into the creature's chitinous exoskeleton. She was doused in acidic blood, her armor holding
for a bit, but her wristblades quickly degrading-not the special ones blooded Yautja get. It was Myh'Zeh back off and drew her
ceremonial dagger from her belt and in one smooth motion slashed the xenomorph across the face, making the monster screech. It
retaliated instantly, sharp tail impaling itself through Myh'Zeh's belly, deflected slightly by her clan armor so that it came out her side rather
than out of her back through her spine. With one more movement, the Yautja young-blood stabs her blade right through its mouth,
into the xenomorph's head. Everything goes quiet, and then the monster slumps to the ground, acid blood boiling away out of its
wounds that it had accumulated over the past few days, and her final blows to finish it. The predator backed up, pulling the sharp
tail out of her belly, then patched the two openings of her wound.
With no words, not even a roar of victory, Myh'Zeh crouches down and removes her dagger from the xenomorph's mouth, before using it to
claim her trophy from the alien she hunted.

How do you intend to play your predator (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your predator)?
I plan to play Myh'Zeh so that she is a ghost. Rarely she will make herself known to any creature that she is not hunting, and prefers using
traps and stealth (not the adapative camo for hunting, of course) rather than direct attack. she is amicable to other Yautja, though prefers
to stay distant from them when she hunts, unless a fellow hunter must be recovered as per the Code.
Ultimately what I want to do is pick someone who is showing exemplary skill in a round, and stalk them for a while. I want them to know
they're being watched, and that it might be me, but to not see me until I go in for the kill. I have a bit of an idea to let them go a few times
if they fight hard to escape, to further the thrill of the hunt, but I'm not sure.

Why should we whitelist you?
I have shown many times I think that I hold roleplay to a high standard for myself, and I think I would be able to create interesting and thrilling
roleplay by being a powerful hunter, outside of the xenomorph vs marine dynamic. This is a role with a lot of power and a lot of expectation,
but I have the self-control to reign myself in for roleplay.

Have you been banned from CM in the last month for any reason (we will check, and lies may result in immediate denial)?
No. Also, I try to be cordial and polite to admins/moderators whenever they ask something of me, aside from deadchat, which is mostly joking around.

Are you currently banned from any other servers and if so, why?
No.

Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or disobey the Predator Code of Honor?
I think adhering strictly to the Predator Code is good, and important for roleplaying as a true yautja hunter.

Your backstory doesn't build up your character at all and is extremely short. I don't care about stories being generic but this one doesn't even build them up as a character, you could replace them with literally anyone else. Playstyle is generic but I don't mind. Now, you only have 5 forum posts and I've also never seen you once ingame. Keeping all of this in mind for my verdict, you should compare it to one of the accepted applications to see the differences and improve from there.

To echo Imperator, your story is short and there isn't really anything that shows your Yautja's personality or literally anything else- just a hunt and a kill. Aside from the story and playstyle, I've seen you ICly as a marine and while I'm not exactly sure of you, you don't seem like a bad egg so you have that going for you.

I'm gonna stick with a -1 for this app.

The story was perhaps focused a bit too much on the action, and not enough on the character. It's your Predator we are most interested in here.

Personally I don't dig Predators that are all about lurking and not doing much, but that's just my personal preference I suppose.

I've seen you around a few times, don't remember you doing anything bad, so that's a positive.

So personally I'd use this application as an opportunity to get some good feedback and try again with a stronger one next time. Neutral leaning -1 for me.

Thank you for the feedback, and I am perhaps a bit rushed in my desire to get whitelisted for special roles. I've only been here a month, after all. This feedback does help me quite a bit, and I think I have a better idea of when to post another application, and how to improve my current one. I'll declare this one denied, unless there is a sudden swing of opinion, and just be around for a while.

I don't think you are quite ready for it yet, You should get more time on your belt and while I think your story could be beefed up some more and maybe a bit more properly formatted(Just personal Preference.) Its really not that bad of a story.

And from my personal experience with you, I have seen you RP quite a bit. Your also one of the only few who try to RP with xenos so you got that going for you.

im afraid what would happen if you were to 'fail at fighting back' as a predator and suddenly boom, predalien shows a more common appearance. from how often i see you captured, it almost seems intentional that you try to get nested and aim for that burst RP.

If the name of your predator truly translates to “the Xenophile” in Yautja, I would be willing to give you a +1 if your gameplay style revolves around tracking down xenomorphs and hastily making lewd sketches of them while avoiding capture and being shot at by marines.

Oh, I know not to surrender at all as a predator, that would be a massive breach of the honor code and would probably get me banned from being predator. I'll definitely try to up my RP in other situations though. Also that is a great idea HBlokkum.

Pretty much summed up all the big problems with this application but what I can add on is you were just recently up for a possible permaban for some sketchy stuff but it got denied.

Although most of the people are Voting -1, Xenophile is a good roleplayer from what I've seen, the playstyle is... really bland, but you can always improve on it to become more like your marine, a Xenophile.

So, I'm voting a +1 on this. If this gets denied, try to be more original, spend more time on the backstory, and get more known.

As already mentioned, the use of paragraphs makes it easier and more intuitive to read your app. A wall of text is rarely read because it bothers and is a hell of a read.

Your background is short and sparsely details the personality of your predator, which is most sought after in the stories of applicants. Generally, texts that describe combats to my taste are fun to read, but the textual wall has taken this whole aspect away from my point of view.

Your character's quirk is extremely generic. It is desired that the applicants indicate characteristics that differentiate them from the others, giving more diversity to those accepted in the whitelist. Hunting as a ghost, and appearing intentionally only your prey is something considered common to be a predator.

The last point I will raise is your activity in the forum; you must have more activity here to have a better chance of being accepted and recognized by the community. Work a little on that, and you'll get more support if you try again in the future.

I wish you good luck, but I will have to -1 this app for the reasons stated above. I recommend that you try again in the future, as soon as you fix these issues and compare your app with the accepted ones, you will be destined to receive more support from us.

Haven't seen you in a long time in game. App is relatively short and basic. Not that it needs to be overly extensive, but that's a ding.
