Character background (A very BRIEF description of your predators background):

Clan Ikthya-de Dto (Umbra Forest) lays claim to a perpetually twilight cast world, covered in massive forests. Little lives there besides the trees and what insects support the ecosystem. The clan's fortune is so closely tied to this world, they named themselves after it, and provide fine wooden goods all over. While no means influential, the clan provides well crafted luxury goods, and hunters raised in the tree tops and forest floor. Few clans can claim a spotless reputation, and Ikthya-de Dto is no exception

The stain of Bad Blood is something that passes from father to son. Dt is the unlucky bastard of a mentally unhinged psychopath who lost their mind a few decades after Dt was born, fleeing from honored and arbitrators alike, leaving a mark that Dt will live with for the rest of his days. He has spent the entirety of his formative years striving to prove himself as honorable as any yautja could be, endlessly trying to scour out the blemish on his honor he had nothing to do with.

Hot blooded as any young male, Dt never let any insult to his honor go unchallenged. He would walk up to his enemy, be it a bully, a rumor monger, or his own siblings, and shove them firmly on the shoulder, before raising his fists, lower mandible spread wide. He would never strike the first blow, always allowing them to accept his challenge how they best saw fit. After that, he would either pummel, or be pummeled. He fought with spirit and heart, but experience and cunning always trumps youth and vigor.

Each defeat drove him harder to prove himself, and he took to training with a religious fervor, often pushing himself until he collapsed from exhaustion, only to rise some time later and continue. It was only by the good will of the clan matriarch that he was given the opportunity to train formally, his single minded dedication to perfecting himself impressing the centuries old matron enough to force him into the kehrite's halls.

Fifty years passed, each day leaving Dt bloodied, broken and bruised, his training unrelenting, unforgiving, and merciless. His chosen mentor lost a brother to the actions of Dt's father, and vented his hatred for the Bad Blood on Dt. Every day left a new series of marks on his body, but his will never waived. No ounce of mercy was ever given, and none were ever asked. He learned, he absorbed, and he found his style. Ranged combat never appealed to him, finding no honor in picking off your prey while safely secluded. While he dutifully performed in every session with the caster, spear gun, and hunter's disc, his heart was never in it, merely following the rotes, while longing for the feel of his combistick.

Dt's respect and humility eventually won his mentor over, showing that dishonor does not have to be carried by blood. Yet the harsh training only became harder and longer, no longer fueled by hatred, but a desire to see just how far Dt would go to prove himself. Often Dt would fail, but never would he quit. Even with broken limbs he would train, learning the vital lessons of how to fight through the pain, to use your one arm or leg to it's fullest. No day was without a new lesson, even if Dt had to be dragged back to his sleeping mat to sleep off yet another round of blunt force trauma to the skull.

Finally, after living only to train, Dt has been given the chance to undergo his Trial. He lives solely to acquire his mark in a way that would forever and without a doubt prove the fullness of his honor, and how the misdeeds of his father would never be repeated.


How do you intend to play your predator (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your predator. This will weigh HEAVILY and frequently breaking from this MAY result in removal)?

The hunt means nothing without honor. The prey deserves to know it is being hunted, and to show if it can be more than prey. Dt will accept any challenge from prey, and will always issue his own. Even hard meats that show some spark of honor will be given the chance to prove it to him. He is no fool, however, and should his attempt at honor be met with deceit and trickery, he will drop all pretenses of a honorable duel and merely cripple his foe. He will not intentionally kill those deemed unworthy of an honorable duel, as their skulls are not worthy of being mounted on his trophy wall, but he will not aid them after breaking their legs and jaw.

Why should we whitelist you?

I have tried to be as active in the community as my limited time allows. My posts on the forum are very rare and infrequent, only weighing in on things that I have a real opinion about. Beyond that, I try my fullest to live up to the RP expectations of this server, be it as marine or xeno. I particularly strive to be the best damn Queen every time I have the chance, and attempt to fill the "All loving, all caring" mother figure they are presented as. Outside of a few admin messages about particular actions (Clawing a downed marine after warning them as a queen that resistance would lead to pain, to which they dropped me to half health with a revolver, and got one clawing for it) or my dubious choice of marine name (It's a legit name, I even looked it up. Lade is a variation on the norse word for Barn, and Immo is an actual first name) I have done everything I could to be a model player and live up to what the server is trying to provide, a legitimate alien vs predator style experience. I believe what I have offered here for consideration would be a fun addition, and would certainly be incredibly fun for me to roleplay.


Have you been banned from CM in the last month for any reason (we will check, and lies may result in immediate denial)?

The only ban I have gotten here was maybe 6 months ago or more, when I attempted to commit suicide as a survivor aboard the old Nostromo map by breaking a window and jumping into space. I was attempting to kill myself, as I had nothing I could use to quickly commit suicide as the xenos came crashing down on me. It seems suicide by spacing (By making a hullbreach, in the control room for the holodeck) was strictly forbidden, and I got a ban. Know it was longer than a month ago, but I remember getting it, so I'll bring it up.

Are you currently banned from any other servers and if so, why?

I have an old antag ban on Baystation, because I decided to do a single tratior thing, and that was detonate a series of PDA bombs in the escape wing, shortly before the shuttle docked. As a antagonist, I believed that was a perfectly acceptable method of being treacherous. Apparently, it was not, and I was promptly given a permanent antag ban at Baystation for venting the emergency escape area to space. Considering I was a scientist, I could have done much worse than burn all my telecrystal on detomatrix carts and blow up all the PDAs I could. While I am not banned from playing, it is still a form a ban, and deserves to be brought up.

Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or disobey the Predator Code of Honor?

Yes. This is a privilege for people who put extra effort into their roleplaying. This is a level of RP held to a MUCH higher standard, given the source material. Marines are a bunch of military yahoos, xenos are a hivemind. Yautjas? Even the youngest of potential unblooded has lived beyond average human lifespan before even being considered worthy of being an adult. They have a civilization that holds itself together by making the primal act of hunting into a ritual, following a strict code of honor, and ruthlessly hunting down and killing anyone who breaks that code of honor.

This is a pretty good applications, you explained everything well enough and even explained your ban from baystation.
The only issue you have is your community activity and I have no idea who you are. I play a lot of Xeno and I often check account names to see who good/bad aliens players are.. yet I've never seen you before. A general requirement for Predator is knowing the Player to some degree.. after all you could have the best application but if no one knows who you are it's a issue.
