Th'syrapauk was born into clan Gry'sui-bpe, a small nomadic tribe with a staunch reverence for the 'old ways'. The Gry'sui-bpe strongly favour simple bladed weapons, even more so than other Predators, and will occasionally hunt for food as opposed to just sport. As a result they are often viewed as barbaric or primitive by other clans, though no less respected for their hunting prowess. While a very traditional society, they do not conform to the strict gender roles commonly adhered to by other Predator groups; male rulers are not unusual among the Gry'sui-bpe and female Gry'sui-bpe regularly partake in hunts. These two, often separate, aspects of Predator society (politics and hunting) are complementary in Gry'sui-bpe culture; respect earned on the hunt translates to political capital with the tribe.

Th'syrapauk's father was an important leader amongst the clan; a shrewd politician who had done much to increase the power of his people. Th'syrapauk was expected to follow this same path and was educated accordingly, with little time given to the art of the hunt and combat practice. Though they yearned to become a mighty hunter, Th'syrapauk understood that this was how they could best make their clan strong. They rarely saw their father, who spent what spare time he had hunting to help maintain his standing among the tribe.

Junior research assistant Michael Curry of Weyland-Yutani Operations Base 319 was having a good day. He was standing over the medical wing's surgical table, whistling to himself as he worked. It's not often you wake up to find that all of your immediate superiors no longer occupy their positions. His mind wandered as he made the delicate cuts. 'Senior researcher Michael Curry', he though to himself. 'Director Michael Curry...' These new titles sounded impressive, but as he examined the body in front of him, he could not help dreaming bigger than the appointments of his recently-deceased colleagues. It was a remarkable specimen: a large humanoid, far more extraordinary than any alien species that had been previously recorded. What's more it seemed to hold some kind of prominent position over its peers. This one was covered in jewellery and grizzly trophies, compared to more meagre garments worn by the other creatures that had attacked the facility. Perhaps this was the reason it did not explode like the others did? Michael couldn't be sure, but that wasn't important at the moment. It would now be his responsibility to make a report to the corporation. When the communications relay was finally operational again this would be an opportunity he intended to take full advantage of.

The room was suddenly plunged into darkness as the sound of pulse rifle fire briefly echoed in the distance before again going silent, just in time for a scalpel to be heard clattering onto the floor.

It cost the clan one of their finest warriors to recover the remains of Th'syrapauk's father. Allowing technology to fall into the hands of lesser races was a most grievous crime. With the disgraced elder dead, punishment fell to his progeny. Though still an adolescent, barely 150 years of age, Th'syrapauk was treated no less harshly. Prohibited from hunting and given no opportunity to defend themselves, they had little choice but to wait until tempers simmered and this unpleasantness faded from memory...

It has now been 100 years since the death of their father and Th'syrapauk is finally allowed to partake in a hunt and earn back the honour they feel is rightfully theirs.

How do you intend to play your predator (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your predator. This will weigh HEAVILY and frequently breaking from this MAY result in removal)?

• I like the inexperienced hunter angle, and will probably just stick to being unblooded at the start of every round.
• mostly just stay 100% hostile with the other races. unless some nerd does something genuinely impressive (UNLIKELY).
• interfere as little as possible when marines and xenos are fighting each other
• play pretty cautiously
• probably get killed a lot

Why should we whitelist you?

• I'm all about making rounds enjoyable for other players and that's what my priority would be any time i played pred.
• very familiar with the avp universe. i've even read some of the COMICS
• i am a /pro-tier/ rper
• probably won't spawn in very often anyway

i just mean i'm not gonna sit down and have conversations with them. you can have positive rp with people even while ic you're trying to kill each other.

In general, a Predator can be hostile, it was a Predator hunting Aliens relationship, until the Marines show up.
Nevertheless, people should take my advise with a grain of salt, as they said. And have to think for themselves.

Farah is one of the most solid characters I already met.
Not only regarding combat - but also regarding her personality.
I saw John in the game too, but I couldn't figure out it was a character from the same player. (Cheers. A good roleplayer!)

P.S.: Farah is one of the human characters I usually follow when ghosted.

Regarding the backstory? It's really good!
And your predator having a more hostile instance against both races, where rarely he would change his views, is acceptable.
He's inexperienced, humans affected his family's honour in a bad way and - of course - no unblooded yautja would be other thing than hostile towards mature xenomorphs...

cm's pretty much the only server i play on nowadays and marine/xeno can get kind of samey. pred just seems like a more open-ended experience, as well as being a role you can play at a much slower pace. The early part of a round where you're just cloaking around and observing especially kinda appeals to me.

don't really know what else to say, other than 'it could be fun maybe'
