Bhu'ja Hult'ah (Ghost/Spirit/Soul Observer)
Byond ID:
Sarah_U.
Marine Name (so we know who you are, if you play alien mostly, state that here):
Krishia 'Crow' Tuller
Name of the character you want whitelisted (The name your predator will use. This must match your in-game predator name):
Bhu'ja Hult'ah (Ghost/Spirit/Soul Observer)
Are you familiar with the Predator Code Of Honor?
Yes, I've read on it and recently increased my knowledge of the lore to better fit the requirements associated with the lore surrounding the Predators.
Character background (A very BRIEF description of your predators background):
Bhu'ja Hult'ah has been trained untill now to be a great warrior, able of cunning strategies and mostly stealthy observation. Bestowed with the priviledge of overwatching the hunt of his kin, he never took part in any hunts so far. He's essentially an initiate on which was gifted the honour of learning carefully from his elders and maybe, one day, be sent for his own hunt. Though sometimes other predators find him weak, for he has great admiration for hunters and warriors that can match the greatest of foes. This admiration even gave him the name of Bhu'ja Hult'ah, as people thought he was more of an observer than a warrior in some respects.
Due to this, he've came to enjoy studying the reactions of the preys his elders hunted and learned that all creatures had potential to become great hunts in the proper conditions. Sent with his clan, he has now received words that maybe things may change and he'll be finally made a true warrior to fight alongside his brethren.
How do you intend to play your predator (as in, describe HOW you will act/play your predator. This will weigh HEAVILY and frequently breaking from this MAY result in removal)?
My predator will often take a certain amount of time to scout the battlefield. Mostly observing the two sides to weight their strenghts and find where conflict occurs. Whenever he sees a person fighting valliantly a downhill battle, he'll see that his achievements aren't wasted and if he survives grant him with a little help so that he may keep fighting.
If he sees that a side is highly advantaged, he'll personally start to challenge people to acquire trophies and experience; Sometimes assisting indirectly for the most part the weaker side so that they can attain glory in their own hunt and keep fighting for their honour.
Why should we whitelist you?
Mostly, because I see several changes are being made and that by being this character I could overview the fights and balance them so that players don't literally melt under the pressure of a too advantaged faction.
If aliens are too abusive and clearly wiping out the marines one by one per example; I'll be able to step forth and give advices, hinder the aliens for a moment so that the marines recover and step back out to check the advance.
I'll also add to the gameplay by rewarding players that perform well in their fights so they'll keep fighting well and feel better about themselves, effectively reinforcing their confidence and possibly making them like the server even more in the process.
Overall, my idea is to help balance the unbalanced sides and not to overly tick the gameplay either. I'll be there and my presence alone will have a certain impact which'll help either faction to overcome problems. Though I'll also help when the balance is established and there's a degree of help required to keep the gameplay fresh and reward players.
PS: I'm a very dedicated person, I greatly enjoy to help and to contribute/involve myself; If whitelisted, I'll do all in my abilities to keep up with your expectations and to learn so that I may only improve.
Have you been banned from CM in the last month for any reason (we will check, and lies may result in immediate denial)?
No, I've been a proper citizen and done my duty harassing you all with questions and reading the forums dutifully.
Are you currently banned from any other servers and if so, why?
No.
Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or disobey the Predator Code of Honor?
If you bestow me the honour to join the predators to begin with, I will have no say upon this statement and will gladly accept this PRIVILEDGE untill it expires or is taken away for whatever reason.
SIDENOTE: Please if you deny this application I'd like to have some insight as of why and how I could've improved it. I wish you a wonderful day and much fun on the server.

CM was obviously inspired by Starcraft: Ghost opening. At least when marines takes too long to deploy.

Re: Bhu'ja Hult'ah (Ghost/Spirit/Soul Observer)
Yea well, that'd only make him the bullied 'rookie' of the clan. If he doesn't hunt then he's a good for nothing, and since predators LIVE by honour... Well he's gonna have to work harder to keep up and show them he's better than they really think he is.

Err, just realised people have been making longuer background than me, while I was restraining myself to write too much to avoid overextensive work on reviewing the application. If any administrators wish to have more informations I'm watching as often as possible the forums so that I don't miss anything. I'll gladly take some time to discuss anything related to the character, if I lacked something somewhere.

I like you as a player, but you're pretty new to the game. As far as the application goes, I don't know what makes your predator specifically unique. Observing and hunting worthy prey is pretty much what every predator does, so I personally like to see something interesting or new to get the person's understanding of the role.

Re: Bhu'ja Hult'ah (Ghost/Spirit/Soul Observer)
I know he's not particularly unique, but for the most part I don't want to diverge from the traditional path due to simple fact my character isn't meant to be a snowflake and he's already special in the sense he's not in to face large threats but the best warriors he can find. He's loyal to the honour code and wish to learn, his curiousity and character is what makes him stand out above anything else.
I hope that helps explaining what I designed the character. Also, I've been around for about three or four months (On the server) for the most part. Seen april fool and I've been quite active for the time I've been here, but I understand why you'd say I'm quite new when I see players like Xur running around, hah.
Thanks a lot for the feedback, it's really appreciated, hope to hear more from you all! ^^

Re: Bhu'ja Hult'ah (Ghost/Spirit/Soul Observer)
You're just too new.
There's nothing wrong with you, you're an enjoyable player but you're just too fresh to take on such an important role.
I've received ahelps from you asking some rule questions still and you've reported stuff to us that weren't rule-breaks or issue.
Point being, you just don't fully understand CM enough yet to be in such an important balancing role.

Re: Bhu'ja Hult'ah (Ghost/Spirit/Soul Observer)
Understood Feweh, though I'd like to say for my defense that I have a policy of asking / telling first before things happen so that it prevents conflict.
You've seen me play and sometimes my questions aren't truly due to not knowing what to do, but simply because I don't want to do bad (Though it happens I really don't know) and that's why I generally believed I'd have the competency of taking a more laid back approach, play carefully the role and mostly join when other Yautjas are around to show me the ropes before engaging on something that would most likely involve in myself loosing the trust I gained or gaining tension in my regard.
So, I hope you understand with this explaination and think it through, but I fully understand that you'll most likely keep this view. I've been administrator up to owner on other games and prevention is always a good thing.
Though on a final note, thanks for saying I'm enjoyable a player, goes a longuer way than the acceptation of the app ^^

Re: Bhu'ja Hult'ah (Ghost/Spirit/Soul Observer)
I'll keep working my best to change your appreciation of me Noize, hah.
On another note, overall I might add one point to frequent behaviors I could be doing (But it won't actually be a RULE as a whole) and it's letting my prey stand back up unless the fight is extremely fierce and I don't have any choices but to lower that standard since (in such scenario) I'd get killed if I gave any rest to my opponent.
In duels against human players or non-combat xenos I'll potentially just throw their weapon at their feet and return to a fighting distance, giving them a chance to continue fighting to a certain degree even crippled since it's more honourable to fight a prey that's able to move than beating one to death while it's prone and unable to fight.
Mostly I take that from logic, reviewing the movies once more and my fighting preferences. As a whole I've seen preds give some rest inbetween strikes and during combat to let the ennemy recover just a little and keep going.
Just an idea thrown here. But overall I stick with my main post as its what I've written and my actions will be guidelined by them.
Hope you all like the idea though.
