Mass Effect Appreciation Thread

Mass Effect I'm going to post this here, to find out how everyone else enjoyed the trilogy, and who're hyped for the new upcoming game, Mass Effect: Andromeda.

The date for it to officially release is coming up real soon, so I myself am very well hyped. I've been playing Mass Effect for years now, and I /still/ continue to replay the original trilogy because I just love the story, the combat mechanics, and the characters.

I pre-ordered Andromeda back in December, and I'm still hyped to get it and after watching the first mission, I'm just more hyped. Excited to meet new characters, new weapons and old weapons, all of that jazz.

Again, want to see others opinions.

I love mass effect, played the orginal trilogy about 2 times each.

the new one however...it looks good, except for the faces....dem face man...

I loved every single Mass Effect, including 3 but I hated the endings of it. I'm pretty hyped up for the new one too. It makes you feel weird knowing that YOU are the invader this time around, instead of being invaded by the reapers.

Tali is the best companion by the way. Anyways~ If Andromeda has multiplayer as awesome as ME3 I'll be happy. I like playing as aliens.

One thing I hope to see from Andromeda is more aliens that are..... alien? You know what I mean? Like so far most of them are two legs, two arms, let's mix it up a bit.

I admit, the faces are rather, odd. I don't think they're all too odd though.

I feel like that's one of the big things for me, seeing as how people call them the aliens in game, but in reality YOU'RE the alien to this new galaxy. Also, It's all about Tali my dude.

It's a shame how hardly anyone plays ME3 Multiplayer anymore, I remember during the summer this year I had just gotten back into it, and everytime I readied up, it was always the same group of people I would play with.

Already though, the new aliens, look more alien. It's said they have bone-like armor, I believe. But hey, if you want 6 armed, tentacle flailing aliens, look to the Hanar :^)

Yeah but Hanar is one species that also you never really see moving. Furthermore, ME3 multiplayer?

Bro, how didn't you unlock the Geth Juggernaut? That was the first one I unlocked, and by God it was so fucking strong. I used it almost 90% of the time.

I don't know! I spent so long trying to just unlock that damn thing. I rolled the most expensive crate like 30 times and ughhhhhh I wanted it so bad.

little Geth turret, and the drain spam is what clutched me, even though you move so fucking slow.

I never enjoyed the first one as much as the second. I liked the layout for the second, although the mining was a fucking drag, my God. Third one was good except the end, but like I feel, it's a ending leading to a new start.

I am a big fan of Mass Effect, but I am among the unpopular opinion that ME 1 was the best, ME 2 was sorta good, ME 3 wasn't as good. But all were a downward spiral from ME 1. And from what I've seen of Andromeda is quite literally ME 1 but rehashed and made worse, like ME 3 worse. I've watched like the first 2 hours of the game since I actually refuse to buy that shit.

Other than that it's had some god awful piddling reviews universally.

Artouris doesn't understand that the ME series is really about bangin' hot aliens and/or the gay member of your team if you're into that. You don't have to listen to him.
