On my second late game, I managed to make a 3 million pop size movable space station with the capability to terraform worlds, and dubbed it the citadel, gave it its own Citadel Defence fleet of Destroyers and Missile destroyers. Twas my main source of population movement. Slightly inefficient when it comes to transportation, and it would crash the game if i tried to check its details due to its size, but built it cause I could and wanted that minor Mass Effect feel.
