The Jonesman brings great treasures and ideas....but this one might not be one of them.
Doing an interest check, while also looking for a GM and some Players for a game of Chronicles of Darkness/New World of Darkness, around the GMT Timezone, Text only, on Roll20.
The choice, on which books are to be used, are up to the GM so its best not to hype too hard, though in theory some of these can mesh together, yes, even Hunter: The Vigil.
So...thats all I have to say, all that needs to be done now is showcasing some of the Corebook Lines, and what better way to do it, than to quote 1d4chan from time to time:
Vampire: The Requiem
13 Clans with fleshed out, restricting histories become 5 clans with vague, open-ended histories and multiple Bloodlines (sub-clans). The Camarilla becomes 5 Covenants with mutually exclusive goals. Oh, and the Camarilla was ran by Ancient Roman Vampires back in Ancient Rome, did I forget to mention Ancient Romans?
Main downside: No Malkavians as far as I am aware.
Werewolf: The Forsaken
A balanced version of Werewolf: The Apocalypse...thats all I have to say.
Mage: The Awakening
Mechanically simplified and involving more magic usage than M:tAsc. I guess you´re a mage, Harry.
Promethean: The Created
Ever wanted to play as Frankenstein´s Monster? A valid option. Ever wanted to ask what is your purpose or morality? Valid character concept. Ever wanted to play Pinocchio? I´ll let this quote answer that "Surprisingly, it's actually rather optimistic since in theory you can make like Pinocchio and become a true human under the right circumstances."
Changeling: The Lost
Back to the classics, you were kidnapped and turned into something not really mortal by a True Fae....its like the old Folk Tales pretty much.
Hunter: The Vigil
You know Supernatural? Its like that, except the Hunters are more interesting, in general, group wise, to name a view, we have....Ex-Nazis, Psychic FBI Agents. Men in Black. Bloggers/Youtubers/Journalists. Regular Joe from down the road and his neighbourhood buddies. Drug-Powered monster hunters. Hedonistic Playboys. A Coglomerate of Pharamaceutical Corporations AKA Umbrela, but not as evil. That one Templar from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, but multiplied, and with more relics to guard. Scientists. The Spanish Inquisition. Biker-Paladin-Bounty Hunters with magical tatoos.
Geist: The Sin-Eaters
Bad news, you died, Good news, a nearby spoopy ghost decided to revive you, with one condition...it gets to ride Shotgun in your body..so, enjoy the company.
Mummy: The Curse
Easiest way to put it "You're a slave of Irem of the Pillars (Yes, the one in the Rub-Al Khali). But the city is dead and gone, and the Sorcerers who made you into what you are now live in the lands of the dead and tell you what to do. A reversal of normal "You're young and weak, they're old and powerful", Mummies wake up with a power trait of *10*...and lose it quickly, because it drops over time as the magic animating your undying body begins to fade. Most Arisen remain active for about four months, at best. And then they have to come back to life and do it all over again."
Demon: The Descent
Cant think of anything witty so heres another quote "Remember the God Machine? From the God Machine Chronicle, and the start of the core book? Yeah, turns out it has robo-angels. Sometimes, one of them decides it doesn't particularly enjoy its function. Or it fails to perform. Or ends up getting saddled with an order it can't actually carry out. Instead of returning they go on the lam, becoming 'demons'. The God Machine sends its angels looking. You don't want to go back, so you become a robot secret agent, pretending as hard as you can to be human while ruining the occult plans of the Divine Calculator; luckily, you retain the ability to hack reality thanks to your former connection to the God Machine. The angels are still Cthulhu-robots in service to the...thing that is in total control of the World of Darkness, and they would really like you to come back so they can erase your personality and replace it with a new, more compliant one. Fortunately Demons are very good at hiding their true identities- so good that even supernatural beings (and other demons, at that matter) can't see through their disguises if they don't want to reveal themselves."

I like the description of the geist, sure I may be possessed every so often but I won't get lonely.

I don't like cute things.
Good hunting.

Geist sounds interesting to say the least.

I'd be up for this.
Geist sounds interesting but I'd like more info on the setting.

I think the Geist players should pair up, and they take turns controlling one character.
