Artemis Starship Bridge Simulator Night

Game takes a total of 6 players:
Captain
Weapons
Helm
Engineering
Science
Communications (frequently done by the captain since it's easy)
Drones (done by whoever has spare time).

Basically it's like a Star Trek bridge, but not Star Trek. Everyone has a job to do, the captain coordinates all, and you fly around fighting bad guys and doing missions. It was designed to be played in a room with one big monitor, but it works well over skype or another VOIP.

I've played this before a few times. Sat round my friend's house, kick it up a notch on difficulty, set the engines to warp instead of moving faster, limited radar range. Was amazing. Jumped to being surrounded by hostiles and going "Oh no! Launch. EVERYTHING".

I can't do this weekend sadly, seeing family. But end of December or any other time I'd love to.

No one has to spend ANY money. I have a DRM-free version of Artemis I can hand out so long as people delete it when we are done playing.

Is a microphone required? My English pronunciation has an exceptionally Brazilian accent, which would be somewhat shameful.

Anyway, if it is not, I will be happy to participate as soon as my relatives release me from the torture that is the supper.

A microphone is 100% necessary. It's a game that requires a LOT of communication, and doesn't have a text interface.

For anyone who does NOT have the game, About 10ish minutes before we start, I'll hand out the link to download the files.

Also,

you may wanna download and install Hamachi. That way, we can run a LAN instead of me opening my PC to the internet like a topless hooker on a street corner.
