Unturned. The game that came from Roblox as Deadzone, and became more successful than anyone really realized would. The game full of squeaker children who love to blast you just for a pair of pants or an MRE, or just to prove they have "grit" on a game where no one cares for anything other than domination. Except me, then it's just building and decorating, and acting cool in a military uniform.

If you care to share experiences, knowledge, anything relating to the game, this be the place.

I once rolled with a group on here after some guys from steam asked me to play. We joined a server, got "invested in" by some guy with like a bajillion ingame cash to bring him lots of loot to his HQ, so we started mercin' people and built a base and then we never played again.

I got 500+ hours in that game and bought the gold cause I used to follow the development of it.

I used to play Unturned all the time with my friends and sister. Back during the earlier stages of the game (so basically 1.0, before the DayZ Standalone-like inventory system) on the old map, we based on a hill looking over the military base and the town behind it, and built a giant tower and several smaller buildings around it along with barbed wire and wooden barricades going around. Heck, I remember playing it when it was on ROBLOX (I know, I was THAT kid) and was shocked at how good it was compared to the other DayZ like game (which is still popular today) Apocalypse Rising. Good times, good times.

Still do play it in me free time, though mainly heavily modded because cool guns and stuff. I mean if somebody would host a server (I tried and failed miserably before) I'd be down. From my experience quite fun, being there a few large maps and few medium map depending on the amount of us could legitly make somewhat shitty Almayer/Sulaco, being it built on the water for realism and what not or just bunch of ladders dangerously dangling from high with 10+ Ladders works too . Fun zombie survival game, eh once you get yer skills maxed yer pretty good however you dead, lose all dah skill points. The guns and survival aspect I quite like though a bit rageful when you die across map from your main base and basically all yer main shit was in your inventory and your last vehicle was where you died sucks.

I could 'try' hosting a server from my own PC, should be able to handle a small group of people tbh. But I'll have to try that on my own to see if it actually works. I'm definitely up for having a group night though so if we're all up for it we could take a shot at it sometime next week, or after the holidays?

kind of sad, kind of funny story, but worth sharing
Once, I was playing on a really big group, like, 7-10 guys, everyone on Discord, looting all around the map, killing anyone that had a gun and making fun of those who didn't had.
Then we ran accross a guy singing, driving in circles with his jeep, surrounded by zombies. at first we were like "lolw tf", then he rushed at us and everyone died from the explosion.
we lol'd hard and then never played it again

I used to like Unturned...until I got sick of it, anyway, I hope to get back into it eventually, but I have motivational issues...
