Last Stand Series:
An obvious example of a great flash game, although it doesn't run quite well for modern PCs and sometimes slows down, it's pretty darn fun!

Raze Series:
Ah yes, the old school side scrolling arena of 2D combat, this one has a story in it, both the first and second games were pretty good. I nevered played the 3rd one.

Warfare Series:
Another one of con-artist's games, it's pretty good with the some what tactical brutality of war. There was a 3-D one launched on steam but the servers for it shutdown due to maintenance costs and very little people playing it.
Two games, one set in World war 1 and world war 2.

Zombocalypse 1&2
Hey, a game about shooting zombies, who would have thought about that?
This game is a side scrolling shooter with combos, zombies, machetes and guns.

Age of War series:
A, mass spam units to kill the enemy base game. Starting from the ashes of the stone age, evolve and upgrade yourself all the way to the SPACE age.
There's an human vs alien one too, called army of ages where you do the same thing but fight ALIENS!

Strike force heroes:
Very similar to the RAZE series, plays well too! But this one has voice acting and a better story, kinda.

Infectonator series:
Oh look, another zombie game, BUT WAIT, this one is about BEING the zombies, well sorta. You basically cause the zombie outbreak and watch as your minions infect and destroy the world.
There's two on steam, one about being the survivors and the third in the series.

Stick Wars 1&2:
Another build units to destroy the enemie's base, but instead of a base you destroy a statue.
The second game builds on the first with upgrades, more units and a better story.

House of wolves:
A nice side scrolling strategy game, build a house, hire more builder, build a barracks, hire soldiers, kill evil red forces and save the many princesses. Rinse and repeat.

Ded zed 1&2
An FPS about shooting zombies and defending your house. It's the same as the last stand but this time you'll be in first person mode.

Rebuild Series:
Another zombie game, but this is a turn-based strategy game where you manage survivors, eradicate zombies, secure city blocks, multiple endings, well depending on which game.
Really fun and brutal when playing on impossible. There's a thrid game on steam, gangs of deadsvile which expands on the first two rebuild games.

Pandemic 1&2
A game about causing a virus/bacterium/pathogen thing to kill humanity. It's basically Plague.Inc but free and in flash.

A side scrolling shooter with a story. It's all futuristic and the second one has bullet time!

Bloons TD Series:
Monkeys hate ballons for some reason, no idea, so they started popping them all in this child friendly game.
Not that friendly mind you as they have an arsenal of democracy ready to be opened up with nukes, snipers, a super hero and a military.

Autumn War:
Another zombie game but this time you're the military or what's left of it. Command multiple squads of 5 men against zombies that try to eat you but at least you have armoured support with you, if you waited long enough. The last level is difficult.
Rumor has it, he's still alive and making a proper sequel.

Big Black Navy War
Oh look, a game about send ships or aircraft to destroy your enemie's base. Simple really, lags if there is too many ships on the field.

Battalion Series.
Ever liked the advance wars on that nintendo DS of yours and gameboy you had when you were a child?
Now there's a flash game inspired by it with a few sequels!
Although it's not the best as advance wars, it's pretty close to how it feels.

Sift Heads Series
Ah yes, where to start with this one.
Well, not really any where but the first game.
You are a badass mercenary/assassin guy that does stuff. Mainly killing. There's a story to it as well, quite interesting too.
It gets better with the squeals.

Road of the Dead 1&2
It's simple, you drive a car in the first one to try and escape a zombie infested city.
The second one is also simple, you drive a car to try and escape a zombie infested city but this time you have GUNS!

Stellar Squad
A tower defense game with space soldiers, evil robots and comedy.
The tower defense part is static with pre-placed soldiers but you can upgrade them into different classes with different abilities.
I advise to get one of each but two heavies or marines.

Storm the House
A very old game from the days of internet explorer, well I think at least.
Simple defend a base while you mow down endless hoards of stick figures and tanks and the like and, it's fun!

Crystal Story 1&2
Hey kids, do you like turn based fantasy combat with a nice child friendly story to it and journey role play games. WELL LOOK JUST BELOW.
I'm giving you the sequel for the first one cause this is the one I played.
Play as a human- lizard Dragon hybrid thing as you are sent to battle the evil and insidious monsters on an island and also a skeleton dragon dargon of immense evil.
Gather friends while you journey and don't forget to grind the utter shit out of this game.

Shattered Colony: The Survivors
Whelp, another zombie game. But this is an RTS about surviving and rebuilding your small and fragile holdout into a bigger fragile holdout with more people.
It has its tower defense slapped right onto it with some resources management of survivors, food and bullets. The only tower you do have, are sniper towers and they do their job. Just remember to upgrade them.

Dinogen
This is quite a new game in terms of high quality flash games.
You play as a man who's been hired by a company who found time travel.
Do you know what they do?
They capture dinosaurs to bring back for study but there's always competition meaning your base is gonna get raided. But the humans aren't always the bad guys since they only how up at the start of the game. It's generally the dinosaurs that try to eat and kill you.

Echoes - Operation Stronghold
Although any sequel to it is in a dumpster fire, the first and only game is a blast.
Meanwhile on an Earth where aliens invaded and kick us to the curb. They captured anyone and turned them into horrific monsters for their undead legion. Play as a failed alien experiment where you lead the remaining forces of Earth to fight back against the invaders.
All in a side scrolling shooter with RTS and base building elements.

Desert Moon
A tower defense game where you're a bunch of astronauts which crash landed on a Desert Moon.
Well shit. You hear screaming from outside, something is trying to kill us. We're not soldiers but engineers, we'll make weird gadgets and gizmos to combat theses alien scum. Just know that they'll all die in one hit.

Pillage the village
Oh boy, where to start here. Well here's prequel that explains it all but let me just say it here. You're a giant hand that pissed off a bunch of villagers now they want to knock down your door. All you do is just lift them up into the air, and let them fall down splat. Since this is the prequel you're gonna cause the events of the first game.

A nice little game about defending your bunker from the 'MURCIANS that try to liberate Europe.
Nice cut scenes and good gameplay, even though there's not a lot to it.

Mastemind: WC
As the name suggests, you're the mastermind of an evil organisation.
Build it up and conquer the world!
Start from a nobody shack to a secret base on the moon, or the ocean, or a volcano or well any where the game allows you to have a hide out.
Recruit loyal minions, execute daring raids against scientists and the bank.
Kidnap, exploit and brainwash the world to do your own bidding, well to at least get away with your antics.
